Bottle Service Across LA And Miami
SPEAKER_04So you are a bottle girl. You must have some crazy stories. Yes. I have been a bottle girl for about five years in like three major cities. I moved to LA during COVID and then one of my friends worked at a club and I just like transitioned right in. So I've pretty much been doing it since then.
SPEAKER_01What cities? LA, LA, Miami, and here. Miami.
SPEAKER_04Which do you like the best? Um I honestly I think I would say here. Why? Um, I feel like the overall vibe is a little more consistent here. I I don't know. Miami and LA is kind of like an interesting place to do bottle service depending on what city you do it in. Out here, it's like you work in old town or downtown. I feel like it's a pretty consistent vibe. Miami's a lot. It's a lot. I can imagine it's a lot. Where's the money the best? I would say here to be honest. Really? Yeah. It's just it's more consistent. Like more people go out consistently here. I feel like Miami has like high and low seasons heavier than here.
SPEAKER_03Is it because more local people do you think? And here it's more of a tourist situation.
SPEAKER_04And there's definitely like uh seasons and off seasons where like people come and go, but I feel like I feel like the locals here go out more consistently than Miami. Like I feel like Miami's destination spot. That makes sense. Yes. And it's usually, in my opinion, in Miami, like the strip club bottle clubs that are more going up than like regular clubs, and then it's the whole thing of like strippers making money versus bottle girls. It's just a little more consistent for bottle servers out here, in my opinion. LA was more influencer-y, which I feel like is why I did not find LA to be as consistent. I don't think influencers tip very well. Ugh. Which is really upsetting. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01If you go out and have a service done, at least make sure you can afford the tip, right?
SPEAKER_04Because you're working very hard. Especially during like big events like Super Bowl and stuff like that. It's like, you know, a lot of them get comp stuff, which is totally fine. But to then not tip on top of it when you've been there for like two or three hours watching the Super Bowl, I'm like, that's frustrating.
SPEAKER_01They get comp stuff and then they don't tip.
SPEAKER_04Usually, like they'll have like some comp stuff, and it's like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_03They feel like because it's free, they didn't have to tip on that main or something. I feel like that's generational though, too, because is it young influencers?
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say it's yes, it's young influencers who grew up influencing. So I feel like they're just not home training. They don't, they don't. There's no like like the the common sense or the the manners of like being out in public, I feel like are not there sometimes. Yeah. But I will say a lot of women influencers, amazing tippers. Really? Yes. Like we uh when I worked in LA, we would have like comps dinners or stuff like that just to help promote, and they would pretty much tip the price of the bill. Yeah. So a lot of a lot of women that go out, amazing tippers, great, loved having them in. It was usually the guys that were the issue.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy. Yeah. Have you ever had anyone hit on you, a client or a oh, like a custom time?
SPEAKER_04I feel like it comes with the territory, to be honest. Yeah. The first place I worked was um a nightclub and restaurant. So I would work daytime serving and then transition into bottle for the night. And it was always really funny because my serving tables would hit on me and then close their tab out and then go to like the club portion and then see me doing bottle service and then like still want to keep hitting on me. But I'm like working, it was just very awkward. But I bet I think it does kind of come with the territory of working in hospitality, getting hit on. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Have you had boyfriends in the past that didn't like that that got jealous?
SPEAKER_04No, I've actually been single for six years. Oh wow. Yeah, really a shame.
SPEAKER_01You've never date seriously dated anyone that you met at the club, or no.
SPEAKER_04No, no, is it hard? I don't ever date anyone I be in the club.
SPEAKER_01Really?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01What club do you work out here?
SPEAKER_03I work out pretty pleased. Is it hard dating someone though not in that sort of like lifestyle? The scene scene. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yes, and no. I feel like I've dated people like in the last six years I've had like, you know, like situationships and like flings or whatever. But I think they know me before dating, so they know like what my job is and what I do. So I feel like there should not be any insecurity. I don't like insecure partners, so I don't think I would attract that to myself to date. And I mean, I don't know, deal with it. It is what it is. Like I come home to you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And you're working at a nightclub. It's not like you're an OnlyFans model, like working at a strip club, you know? Yes.
SPEAKER_04And but even if I was, like, who cares? Like, you know who you're dating. Yeah. And like just be secure in yourself and like open to conversations, and like that's it.
SPEAKER_01It's true.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So when was the last time you went on a date? Oh my God. Last time I went on a date was January. Um dang, that's a long time. Yeah, that's why I literally don't. Why? Yeah. Do you just not want a date or um this is the first place I've lived where I feel like the city is super, super small, and everybody knows everything about everyone. And I really hate that because I'm very like, hush hush. Especially in an old town scene. It's true. Especially in the scene that you're in. Yeah. I'm like, oh my God. Are you on the apps? Hell no. No. I'm not on any apps. I just date based on the look of me.
SPEAKER_01So you date in that small bubble, the old town bubble, and everyone does. And people talk.
SPEAKER_04They do. Yeah. When I went on the date in January, one of my coworkers came up to me and he was like, I thought you weren't dating. And I'm like, uh, what are you talking about? Like, I'm not. He's like, really? Because like I heard you went on a date this weekend. I actually knew about the date before you went on the date. And I was like, you have to be fucking kidding me. The guy doesn't even live here that I went on a date with either. I was like, I've had enough. That's enough for me. That's enough.
SPEAKER_01I thought you should get on the apps and you know, maybe date guys that live in North Phoenix or, you know, or Tempe or someone that like doesn't even live here.
SPEAKER_04I've tried apps before. I'm just a really like in-person type of person. And I like a specific like banter, and you know, and if it's not there, I'm like, I kind of would rather be home.
SPEAKER_03I have to ask a question on behalf of another guest we had recently. Is it it is it part of the job to sit on the lap of someone who's at a table that you're serving? No. No. What? Do you remember we had a guest recently that was like tell you that? We had a guest recently who was like sitting on the laps. Like, she's like, My man can go to the club, but like, don't have the bottle girl sitting on your lap because like that's not a part of the job description.
SPEAKER_04Part of the job description.
SPEAKER_03Sitting on absolutely nobody's lap and there was some there was when that clip aired, apparently there was some, there was some drama. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I have never in my life What was the drama? How did I not see this?
SPEAKER_03I'm no, it because it was outside. It was, I think the girl who she was referencing Saw the clip. A girl that works in bottle service saw the clip and thought she was directly talking about her.
SPEAKER_05Got it, got it.
SPEAKER_03And so it was kind of one of those things where the girl was like, you know, like if the shoe fits, I guess, whatever, think it's about you, but also like the world doesn't revolve around you.
SPEAKER_04And so I'm gonna just say this for the one time. It is not part of the job description to sit on anybody's lap. You do not need to do anything you don't want to do. Like, I feel like there's such a misconception around bottle service that it's like just like flirt central. And like, I just love all my clients. Like, it's we're just very regular. We're just servers in lingerie. It's fun. I worked at when I worked in Miami, I worked at um Booby Trap, like a strip club, but I did bottle service there. The tables, like some of them will ask you to like sit and hang out with the other strippers and stuff, and like that's fine, whatever. But no, you do not need to sit on anyone's lap.
SPEAKER_01Was working at a strip club better money than working at a regular club?
SPEAKER_04Um I don't think so. I think for bottle servers working at a strip club, you should strip. I think if you're doing bottle, it's kind of like it's like not a competition, but it's just kind of this weird like dynamic of like everyone there is hot, and then the client doesn't really know like what to do. It I find it awkward to be honest. Yeah, yeah. And then it's like I don't want to take away money from anyone, but I all yeah, but I also want to make mine, so it's uh I don't know. Yeah, I like I'm very type A in the workspace, so I like just knowing I can come in, do bottle leave.
SPEAKER_01Do you have anyone prepositioning you propositioning you to you know do anything after hours or come back to mine for Oh my god, no.
SPEAKER_04I'm like the ultimate, like, why the fuck are you asking me that? Like, what is wrong with you? I'm like very nice, but very like no, that's not how I'm drinking. Yeah, and like I'll come like you know, I'll go to like after parties and stuff like that, like to have fun and like drink, but it I'm I'm going home.
SPEAKER_01You have a pretty big following on social media, don't you? Really? I feel like this is okay. Yeah, do you get a lot of people hitting you on their on your Instagram or yeah, my Instagram is a very terrifying place.
SPEAKER_04Like the hidden requests are very terrifying. Um wait, what? Have like their wives and children in your pictures.
SPEAKER_01Yes, like asking you for inappropriate stuff. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_04What? Or talking about like my tits or like my boss? It's just really weird. Really weird.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy that they do it from their Instagram profile that shows their family. Like at least create a burner account
Dating Rules And Club Boundaries
SPEAKER_01so that like that's just bizarre to me.
SPEAKER_04Yes, you think they'd be smart enough to have a burner.
SPEAKER_03Well, and on a public account, right? Because your account's public.
SPEAKER_04Yes, my account's public.
SPEAKER_03So it's like imagine, imagine being the wife. No, yeah, and finding out and then being able to go to your profile and be like, wow, look at this woman. Like, she's beautiful. Yeah. And here's my husband acting like a dog in her DMs.
SPEAKER_04Like, that's embarrassing. I always think too, like, if I follow the husband and they're probably gonna think like, oh my god, and like it, my DM works. Like, she's following me back the whole time. It's just to like DM the wife. I'm like, this is what your husband is doing. Please get rid of him. So yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I would be embarrassed to find out if I was married to someone to find out that he was doing that.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's embarrassing. I don't even know what I would do. How many years did you say you've been here? I have been here uh actually one year on the dot, pretty much.
SPEAKER_01So I know you said your last date was back in January, but have you had any other dates here? Any disaster date stories or crazy dates? Um or anywhere. It doesn't have to be here. Miami, LA.
SPEAKER_03I know where has the dating been? The best and the worst.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the best and the worst.
SPEAKER_04Miami's kind of weird to date in because it's very like uh it's just a different culture in Miami. Um a lot more like money. I feel like guys try to flex harder on you in Miami or try to take you to like the nicest stuff possible and like pick you up in their Lambo and like you know, just all the stuff. It's a little more flashy, yeah. And I feel like they think that's gonna work, and it can, just it's not my style. Like, I just don't, I don't know. Money is nice and all, but it's like not what's gonna make me like you. Um, LA. I was younger when I was dating in LA, so I went on a lot of dates in LA. Um when I first moved there, I was on the apps, and my roommate at the time told me to just swipe on anyone that had a motorcycle so that I could like just have a fun time and go on a motorcycle ride at midnight. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01That is hilarious.
SPEAKER_04So, like, I was just like recently single at the time. So I was like, yeah, that looks fun. This looks fun. Sure, why not?
SPEAKER_03So yeah I was you date a lot of guys with motorcycles?
SPEAKER_04I dated a few. I went on like a lot of like midnight runs midnight runs. You know, trying to see what's open, like some donut shops. Like, um, I went on a date with a guy who was like two or three years younger than me. We went to get boba and he shot the boba ball at me after I asked. I literally was like, don't do that. Shot it right at me and then did it again. That's so immature. Like to the strong. Yes. I was like 25, I think, too. I was like, why are we doing this?
SPEAKER_03There's a time and a play. But also, like sometimes I just don't want boba in my hair thing.
SPEAKER_04Also, like just don't do that. Like, I'm never ever gonna be like into you now. Like you really ruined that one.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Um that's how old are you? I'm 28. I turned 29. That's okay. October. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_03So do you like older guys then? Do you like more mature? I actually like younger guys.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I usually date younger. Um, I would say like a year or two younger. Aren't they more mature though? And like don't have the shit. Maybe this is my own fault. You have to pick through the immature ones, I guess, to find the old souls. I don't know what it, I don't know what it is. Like, I won't do it on purpose either. Like, I'll just be vibing with the guy. And I'm like, oh, how old are you? And they're usually like a year or two younger than me. I think they're just a little more. I could be totally wrong about this too. I feel like they're a little more fun. And I feel like they do work a little bit harder to try to get me because I'm like, ooh, like one year older.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, more experienced.
SPEAKER_04Yes. And I think sometimes the older guys try to little girl me, and I really don't like that. So it's kind of hit or miss. I've dated one guy that was two years older than me, and that was about it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, and I guess how many guys do we know that are immature in their 40s still? Oh, exactly. It that really isn't an argument. Yeah, just because there's some guys that never grow up, I feel like with that stupid shit.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah. No, I I agree with that. I actually feel like it almost gets worse the older that they get. Because at least the younger ones, like I can give them a little leeway. You know, you're young, you're figuring it out. Right. The older ones, I'm like, what are you doing? There's no excuse. No, like you're 35 and acting like this, it's actually absurd. Yeah. Have you ever walked out mid-date? No, but I've thought about it. There was one guy that I went on a date with, and he would not stop talking about sex. And I was like, so annoyed over it. Um, I literally left the date and was like, what the hell was that? Like, this is the weirdest thing I've ever done.
SPEAKER_03I think that you were going to be having sex with him. Yes.
SPEAKER_04And I think he thought that like it was just gonna like really turn me on during the date or something. Or like he told me that oh my god, this really got me. He told me that women have such a hard time leaving him alone because he's just so good in bed. And wow, like girls just like beg to like go on like more dates with him because he's just so like amazing. And I was like, Yeah, this is my cue to like go the fuck off. Does that work for him?
SPEAKER_03Like, I don't know. Where did he take you? Where were you when he was telling you these things?
SPEAKER_04We were in LA, we went to like a little Mexican restaurant, so a night, a nice it was cute, place, but like everyone around could hear this conversation too, and I'm like mortified. That is so cringe.
SPEAKER_03Yes, it was just so awkward. Because I feel like there is something to be said about men who manipulate in like the love bombing thing where it's like they'll take you to a really nice place, talk to you about this and that, because it's that's what they expect because they took you here and there and whatnot. So it's that's a we and it's a weird, it's a little bit of a weird game that he was playing.
SPEAKER_04I'm just like, where is your brain?
SPEAKER_03Like, this is so strange.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I wonder if he was gauging how sexual you are and whether you were gonna put out that night.
SPEAKER_04You know, probably like yeah, I don't know. Probably. And I'm I'm the least, like, I'm not influenced easily. So, like, just shut up.
SPEAKER_01Because I I think if he was legitimately looking for something serious and long term, you don't talk about that stuff on the first date, right? No, like that's definitely not a classy thing to do.
SPEAKER_03I just hear like all the men in our comments right now going, you fucking idiots, of course, he just wanted to smash. Like, why? Like, why are we even talking about this? Like, why are we even trying to figure out what he was thinking? He doesn't want to get married, like, like he was just there for the sex. Like, literally, he was gonna eat anyways he was gonna eat anyways, he might as well buy someone else's dinner if there's a chance that he might get to fuck.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so the conversation goes, maybe he could fuck. I'm like, get the fuck away from me.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. Oh my gosh. It would be hard to sit through a date like that though, when you know you're like, there's this is not happening.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So I just at that point, too, like halfway through, I was like, let's just see like how far I can egg this on with like where he will take the conversation on his own. And it just like it just kept going and going.
SPEAKER_01Oh god.
SPEAKER_04No end in sight. I was like, holy shit, I have to get out of here. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Have you ever been cheated on?
SPEAKER_04Yes. Um, so I've been in two relationships. I was in one in college. I I have like my bad relationship and then my good relationship. So I've experienced a good relationship. I think that's why I can date very like normally now. Um, but my first relationship, we were like best friends in high school, and then I went away to college. He was a year younger than me. He ended up going to the same college as me. We lived together, we were just very young. Um he cheated on me, and I found out because I saw the text come through on his laptop. Yes, and it was like I didn't fuck her this time, but I'm gonna fuck her next time. Like texting his best friend. And his phone was broken at the time, so I called his best friend and I was like, What the fuck is wrong with you? Like, are you serious? Um, he still won't admit to cheating on me though. But what about that text? How does he justify that? He says that we were we had been together for about a year, year and a half at this point. Um, and it was rocky. Like we were like 1920 living with each other, like it is what it is. Um he was also like newly hot, you know, like within the last like year or two. Yeah, so he I don't think he was used to getting like as much attention as he was, which I mean I was fine with it. Um we were going through a little bit of a rocky time, and it was like the should we break up? Should we not break up? Maybe we should just take a break, but like I don't want to see anyone else, like maybe we just need some space, whatever. And then he ended up sleeping over at a girl's house. Yeah. So you were on a break in his mind. Yes, but then uh I think like a few months later, he admitted to his best friend that we were not broken up.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04So he just wanted to like ride that out like he could, but I was pretty crazy at the time. So I posted on my story, like he cheated on his last ex-girlfriend. I posted on my story, like, once a cheater, always a cheater. Like, don't trust it's fugly slut. Like, I just yeah, I really just was having a breakdown publicly. Did you forgive him or did you end it? Um, you know, we lived together. So uh I actually made him come home and word for word read every single text that he sent the girl until he cried
Cheating Lessons And Relationship Standards
SPEAKER_04about it. Oh, this is just bad. Um, and then I think I forgot about it because I wanted it to work, but I don't think I ever really forgave him for it. And then I moved out. Um, a few months later was my last semester of senior year. And then I just had a ball. I had the greatest time ever. Um, I would still invite him over. And then as soon as I went to the college in Hawaii, as soon as I left the island, I was like, I never want to see you again. Wow. That's yeah.
SPEAKER_03So that was your toxic relationship. That was my toxic relationship. And then you had a healthy relationship. Yes.
SPEAKER_04Um, I moved home and which was where? Where's home? I'm from California. I'm from the Bay Area. Yeah. Um there was a guy I was interested in at home for like a while, thought he was cute. He's very fun. And we kind of just it was like perfect opportunity. We were both home. Um, and then we started dating. It was great, like most secure relationship I have ever been in. It was very easy to talk about anything that would come up. Um, we were very similar too. So, like we both are very free people, but we wanted to be in a relationship because we were making the choice that we wanted each other, not because we needed to be in the relationship, which felt very calm and relaxing to be in. And like it was really fun. It was honestly great. I owe what I look for now in relationships to that relationship.
SPEAKER_01So, why did that end?
SPEAKER_04Um, I moved to LA and I think I was I was 22. Still young. Yeah, I was just young. Like, I needed to figure myself out. I didn't know myself. I knew there was like some wildness in me that I needed to get out, and I did not want that to affect him. And I know he would not want to be a part of that. But I'm literally like wish him the best. I'm still friends with his family. Um, I think he has a girlfriend now, actually. Like, I could not be more happy for him. It it was not going to be us, I think I just. Needed to so was that the start?
SPEAKER_03Are you still in your wildness right now? Is that when you moved and started like to do the bottle girl stuff? Like single when you say I've been single for the last six years. Yeah, that's yeah, when that started.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because I moved to LA and I was like, oh my god, house parties in the hills, like I'm going. So, like, yeah, I was pretty much just like doing everything in LA possible. And like, I again, I was 22 when I moved. So I was like, oh my god, I can like legally drink now at all the bars and go do whatever I want and have a ball. So that's what I was doing. And then I moved to Miami two years ago, and then I moved here last year. I I will say in the last year I've calmed down a lot. Yeah, Miami was my last hurrah on being like actually like batshit. Yeah. Are you looking for something serious? Are you looking to get married eventually? I would like to get married eventually. Um I am really scared of settling for something that does not actually align with me just to hold on to a relationship. Um, I think if I'm going to get married or find someone, I really want to be with my best friend. And that's not something I'm willing to budge on. Like, I'm not just gonna date someone to date someone. That's just I can't do it. I like being I'm an only child, I like being alone. Um but I would ultimately like to be in a relationship and get married.
SPEAKER_03Do you want to continue working or doing what you're doing?
SPEAKER_04No, like I I feel like bottle service has an expiration date. So at some point I will obviously transition. You said you're 29? 28. I turned to 29.
SPEAKER_03I feel like yeah, I feel like bottle. It would be so hard. It would be hard to be in a relationship and be doing that job. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04It would be, I I think it would be. Yeah, I have some segues out of it. It's just like when I decide to actually extra money. I bet that money's really good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And it's probably fairly easy money too when you're yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_04And it's not like I'm working eight hours. But then again, it's like, you know, if I was dating a guy, I have this free time to like go and have fun with him. Yeah. I don't know. There's pros and cons to each side of it.
SPEAKER_01Um, you said you went to school in Hawaii. Was that the University of Hawaii? Yes. Yeah. The on Oahu? Yeah. How fun. Yeah, was dating there? Did you did you date there?
SPEAKER_04Um, so I uh actually did I? I I started going there my sophomore year. Um oh, actually, I did do a little bit there. It's all military guys. Um, not for me. Not your cup of tea. Not one bit, no.
SPEAKER_01Um I feel like military guys are very polarized. Either women love military guys. My sister loves the guy in uniform.
SPEAKER_03It's either your type or it's not. It's not. There's no in between, I feel. Yeah. Agreed. I agreed. We'll pass. Yeah, I will pass on a military guy too, most of the time.
SPEAKER_01I said the motion. I second the motion.
SPEAKER_04And you know, not to generalize like all military men, but a lot of them when they're young, I just feel like I don't know. They're uh they're weird out there and like pretty controlling. And all of them cheat, at least that I've seen. Um, a lot of the guys, too, that I dated in Hawaii that were military, like did not know how to make a first move. And that really irritated me. Because they would see me at a party. Like, I know them, would see me at a party, wouldn't talk to me nothing. And then as soon as I leave the party, it would be like, Where are you going? Like, what are you doing? Let's hang out. I'm like, you did not say one word to me. And it was consistently like that with the military guys. I don't know. Interesting.
SPEAKER_03Are they just under are they under socialized? Maybe maybe, I don't know. And they maybe you're just intimidating, live on their own.
SPEAKER_04I didn't think so. I I didn't think I was at the time. I was very like, hee hee, like, I don't know. Like, I have no idea, but yeah, Hawaii, I don't know. Hawaii was cool. I feel like I was kind of just there to like fuck off though. Yeah, yeah. It was college, and then as soon as I got out of my relationship, I was like, again, it was my last semester. I'm like, I'm having a ball. I don't want to date. Like, I just want to have fun.
SPEAKER_03Do you want to date someone who's also in the nightlife scene or someone who goes out a lot? Or would you rather date someone and have more of a like a daytime?
SPEAKER_04Um honestly, I would say either one. I always joke that my type is a retired whore. So someone that like used to go out, used to be in the scene, or like has gotten that out of their system so that I don't ever feel like they're gonna resent me for like not going out or something. Like if I asked them to not go out for a weekend, they're like fine with it because they've gone out one thousand times. Um so I don't know. I wouldn't really mind if I dated someone that was outside, but we have to have like trust first, like it's not just like a free-for-all where you're going to the booty club and like you know, getting laugh dances every other weekend. That isn't absolutely not happening. Yeah, yeah. Because are you traditional?
SPEAKER_03Do you want like a traditional relationship? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, I think so. How do you feel about being a stay-at-home wife, stay-at-home mom, trad wife?
SPEAKER_04You know, okay, so I actually would be like fine with that. I'm just very hyper-independent. So like I want something that is mine, whether it's like a hobby or a project, or if I just want to start my own business, or like I want that to be supported alongside if you want to support me staying at home. Like, what is your type? Like physically and um, I usually go for like very athletic guys. I used to be a really big gym girl. Um so I like athletes because I feel like they're very disciplined and I find that attractive. But usually like six foot plus, I like a baby face. So, like someone that's like cute but like sexy at the same time. Not not a lot of facial hair. Are you not a beard? I love a goatee. Goatees are like my weaknesses. I do like facial hair, actually. But like on just like a little, like like he's so hot, but he's so cute. Like I like that. Are you religious? Um, I actually grew up religious, but I'm not really anymore. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Are you ready for it?
A Cruel Dating App Voice Note
SPEAKER_03I'm ready for it. The keep more minute brought to you by Tactical Tax Strategies. They help you keep more in your relationship. I say this every time. They help you keep more in your wallet. We help you keep more in your relationship. I don't know why. All of a sudden, like the last three times, I've messed that up. Okay. Sorry, keep more minute is different this time because I had someone send me a voice note. So she uh had met this guy on the dating apps. And I guess she's not really looking for advice because she's not she's not uh there's no um there's no like contemplation about continuing with a relationship with this person. So I guess the advice is how do you respond to something like this if someone were to send you something like this? So they chatted back and forth a little bit. Um, and I have screenshots of their conversation too. So they chatted back and forth a little bit on the apps, and then he had asked her for her cross streets of where she lives, and she said that she wasn't comfortable giving her cross streets. And so this is the the voice note that he sent to her.
SPEAKER_00Like if I was like, you know what I mean, talking to a prize, someone who was like super, super skinny, high type, super chill, then yeah, but it's just like bro, I'm the prize here.
unknownLike you uh got a little weight on you and whatnot, it's just like I'm not gonna try to fight for a chick, you know what I mean, it's offensive overweight, you know, knowing that in my life I've had so much heart attacks. Yeah, like uh like knowing that I've had these heart checks, like me and myself are not texting, like text basically for like a fucking week. Like these shit for like young me, you know, you seem cool, you know, let's fucking do this.
SPEAKER_00You know, and it was fucking chill until I lowered the move, but like I'm not gonna lie, like I'm gonna sit here and talk to you for a week. I hope you fucking, you know, the type of chick that goes to the gym, and you know, you're actually fucking hot and good looking, but you don't worry, you look like you work out and shit. So like what am I waiting for? You know, a chunk of pup, a chunk of fucking, you know, fat bar, you know, to come my way.
unknownOr am I waiting for a fucking skinny prize who takes care of herself? Everyone wants that body, but she but no one did it but me. It's not you. So like what am I what am I fucking, you know, what uh what am I winning here? You know, what am I waiting on?
SPEAKER_00You know, am I really waiting on a fucking prize? Like, you know, get the fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_01I feel like he's butthurt because she rejected him basically.
SPEAKER_03So this was so this is what the text said that that she sent to him before he replied with that voice note. She said, figured I'd mention now, so all my cards are on the table. I take things very slow. I'm looking just to meet people and make friends. Overall, I prefer to just get to know you as a friend right now and figure out the rest later. I know that pace doesn't work for everyone. So I wanted to let you know in case that doesn't work for you.
SPEAKER_01Wow, that's very regular text.
SPEAKER_03Very regular.
SPEAKER_01Nothing to go off on like he did. Yeah. What sparked his fire? Like what chapped his ass?
SPEAKER_03Apparently, she said that they've matched on face, I think on Facebook dating, like two or three times before. And it's never like he's always initiated a conversation, but it's never came around to actually like meeting in person. And so she said that this time was kind of the closest that it was coming to meeting in person. And he sends that. And he sends that. And she's like, I just wanted to try to explain myself. Like, we can meet, but hey, I just I like to start things as friends first and take things back to it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like we're not talking tonight. Like, yeah. I've anyone has sent that. Like, I've sent that a million times. She dodged a bullet. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Even respond to a voice note like that, though. Oh, how unimaged. And she said that she's reported him on the dating platform and they haven't taken his profile down.
SPEAKER_04That's bad. Like a two-minute voice note of you sitting there calling me a lard fat is actually like fucking insane.
SPEAKER_03Right?
SPEAKER_04Right? Oh my god, what a douchebag. That is also like that's just crazy to me because I'm sure he's literally a two out of ten and probably the most boring person. Oh, do you want to see what he looks like?
SPEAKER_01Do you think he felt rejected and so he was lashing out of her? Yeah, he's probably just like can I see? I want to see what this guy looks like. Oh wow. He is no prize. Like he finds like these pictures say that is a lie.
SPEAKER_04Like that can be real. And for him to send that because you are such a prize, sir.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04The weight thing is really crazy to me, too, because yeah, I feel like you never really see girls complain about guys having like extra weight, like that never bothers me. Like, I love a dad bot. I honestly don't mind like a bigger, beefier man. That's like fine with me. That has never bothered me. So the fact that he even sent a voice note coming for this girl that he's they've never met in person, right? No, never even met, just based off pictures.
SPEAKER_03No, and she's she's someone who is curvy, but she's not insecure about her weight. Like she's a beautiful woman with a curvy body. Yeah. And so it's how it should be. Yeah. And so she's like, for him to assume that this is going to like devastating. It's gonna make me or it's gonna be bad about myself. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. She's like, I just think of the women, you think of the women who actually are really insecure about their bodies. And if they got a message like that, like how that would affect them.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03Because it's just like that's reckless. Like you can't go around saying shit like that to people.
SPEAKER_01I hope she realizes it's about him, not about her. Yeah, this is all about him and his complex and his insecurities, nothing to do with her body and what she looks like.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, all about him. No, my god. She does. It's funny because I was like, she played that for me, and my reaction was the same. And I was like, I was like, when did this happen? Are you devastated? Can I play this on the podcast? Like, oh my god. She was like, Yes, I cried about it once, but I'm over it now and it's fine. I'll send it to you. And I was like, done, deal, send it.
SPEAKER_04Like we're putting it on. Also, if if he's so adamant that that's not his type, and you know, she's no prize and blah, blah, blah. Why did you even match? Like, why would you even multiple times? Multiple times. Why would you even take the time to do that? Like, you're an idiot. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Why would you be so devastated with her text about just wanting to be friends and take it slow to begin?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Like, please, I wouldn't fuck you either. Like, what? Oh my God. That actually is so irritating to me. Jeez. Unbelievable. Zero out of 10 for 10 from Facebook dating. Yeah. Facebook even does dating. I feel like it's like any, I mean, anytime I go onto Facebook, I'm like, oh my God, it's like my aunts and uncles and stuff. But then I forget that there's dating on there now. Like that's a scary place.
SPEAKER_01It's funny, my sister was bitching about Facebook dating because I guess it sends you like matches that they recommend for you. And all of the matches, like, they are like not hard. I should show you some fiction. That's she's like, this is why I hate the dating man. Every person they think I should be with.
SPEAKER_03It's funny because every once in a while I'll get a notification on Facebook that's like someone has a crush on you. Because I guess if you have Facebook dating and you know someone who doesn't, you can like request yes. And Facebook sends a little notice. And I'm like, That's actually smart. But also like, no one better do that to me. It's not gonna be worth it. It's not gonna be worth it. No, like your sister said, like, it's not gonna be worth it for no, no, for the one person that thinks I should join Facebook dating. Like, it's not gonna be worth it.
SPEAKER_01No, judging from what I've seen on her app. No, it's not worth it. Uh-uh.
Baby Tragedy And Postpartum Questions
SPEAKER_01So, did you guys see in the news that mom that was just sentenced to I think it was 11, 13 years in prison for putting her baby baby in the oven because she thought it was a crib. She mistook the oven for a crib and went to put down her baby for a nap in the hot oven.
SPEAKER_05What?
SPEAKER_01Yes. So wait, did it die? Did she kill a baby? Yes, it died. She claimed she thought the oven was the crib and the oven was on. In February of 2024, police responded to a home in Kansas City in response to a report about a baby who wasn't breathing and badly burned. They tried to resuscitate her, but unfortunately the baby passed. She told police she mistakenly put the baby in the oven, thinking it was the crib. She said she was putting her child down for an app and accidentally placed the child in the oven. She quotes, I thought I put her in the crib, but I accidentally put her in the oven. How does that happen? Is it drugs? It's gotta be drugs, right?
SPEAKER_04Probably postpartum. That's what I was gonna say. Like postpartum.
SPEAKER_01But so do you think she accident really accidentally did it?
SPEAKER_03Well, she was probably hallucinating.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You could that happens for post- Oh, I mean, yeah, I guess the Lindsey Clancy trial.
SPEAKER_04Especially like too like mixed with post postpartum, like lack of sleep. And I know um I've read that there are some symptoms in postpartum where like you literally have thoughts of either like killing yourself or your baby because it's like too much, and that's why like a lot of people have like drowned their babies and like that stuff.
SPEAKER_01So question why this Lindsay Clancy trial, I wonder if it's gonna open Pandora's box in that she's got a lot of supporters and people saying it was postpartum that it makes you hallucinate. It wasn't she isn't what is the happens a lot though. Um, she shouldn't go to jail, she should go to a hospital. Yeah. So now this lady, if it's the same thing, why is she getting 13 years in jail? If it was postpartum, why doesn't she have a lawyer?
SPEAKER_03Or you should still go to jail if you murder someone.
SPEAKER_01No, and I agree, but I know a lot of the Lindsay Lindsay Clancy supporters are like, she doesn't deserve to go to jail because it's due to her hormones.
SPEAKER_03But you still murdered someone, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You know, like I still think there should be appropriate consequences. I just think maybe the mindset was not like killing my baby. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think there should still be like consequences for sure action. For sure, for sure.
Celebrity Icks And Getting Caught
SPEAKER_01Now it's time for the celebrity cut where we marinate in the juices of the celebrities. So did I read this article? You know Isla Fisher? She used to be married to Borat. I love him. And so she they got divorced and she's newly dating, and she was talking about how she gets the ick so easily. And she was saying how she went on a date with this guy and they were taking his dog for a walk, and the dog ran away, and he was chasing the dog, like like on his like bending down with his arms stretched out. She's like, he looked like a cartoon guy.
SPEAKER_03No, if a man can't run, I cannot date him. I can't, nope. She's like, it gave me the ick, I couldn't date him anymore.
SPEAKER_01And I'm just cracking.
SPEAKER_03Well, if you run like a run like anything other than like a man, like I can't, it's not.
SPEAKER_04Okay, see, I like a little, like a little weird.
SPEAKER_03No, it's like a little zest.
SPEAKER_01But you know, I'm thinking that's kind of bullsy of her to publicly say that because I'm sure that's in a hair. He was running with his arms toward the board.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, I'd I'd be out too. I'd be like, it can't, this can't happen. And speaking of you, I couldn't take you anywhere. Like, I couldn't take you anywhere.
SPEAKER_01I think I'd be like the opposite. I'd be like, oh, it's kind of weird. Well, you were saying how you caught your ex cheating from the laptop. Well, did you, you know, Gwen Stefani was married to Gavin Rosdale? Yes. And that's how she found out he was cheating because he was messaging, I think it was the nanny, that they were having an affair together and the messages came through the iPad, the kid's iPad.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I think that happens more often than not. Yeah, I think it has happened more often.
SPEAKER_04All my guy friends say that like you gotta have two phones and like you get you gotta not sync them up so that the phones are separate because you'll get caught on one or two.
SPEAKER_03Even sometimes when I open my laptop and the text come through that I've already read on my phone. I'm like, I'm like, oh wait, no, no, I've already read that. I've already read that. But it's like from three weeks ago. Yes, they're from like three weeks ago. Like, jump scares you a little bit. So it's like, I can totally see how you could get caught doing that.
SPEAKER_04It would be so easy. Block someone on your phone, like my iPod, I'll block it on my phone, but it doesn't block on my iPad. It doesn't always like cross devices.
SPEAKER_01I remember when I was single, there were a couple guys that I went on dates with that had two phones, and I always thought that was so sus. I'm like, are you married? And like one of yours is your, you know, seal.
SPEAKER_03I don't think two phones is as sus anymore because of all of the work that we do on our phone. Oh, he was a student, and so many that's what I'm saying. Like, I feel like back then, when back then it was, yeah, it was more suspicious back then.
SPEAKER_04I feel like majority of people I know now have two phones. A lot of people have two phones. Yeah, yeah. But I do know a lot of my whore guy friends will purposely not sync up anything. So that's like they can use one extra critical. Scandalous. Very
Rapid Fire Dating Red Flags
SPEAKER_04scandalous.
SPEAKER_01Now it's time to get to know you with Zoya, sponsored by Zoya, your neighborhood yogurt. Rapid fire questions. Oh god. Are these red flags or no? Make sure you split the bill on the first date. Yes. Still follows their ex on Instagram.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_01Bad tipper.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_01Has no social media.
SPEAKER_04Uh that's either or to me.
SPEAKER_01Where should someone not take you on a first date? Oh my god. The movies. Is watching porn considered cheating? I want to say no. Before you're intimate, is it appropriate to ask your date how many people they've been with? Yeah. Is it acceptable to have sex on a first date? Yes. Do you have a secret talent that not many people know? Or in fact, you were?
SPEAKER_04Um I don't think so. I don't know. I feel like I'm not that talented with it.
SPEAKER_01In one sentence, why should someone date you?
SPEAKER_04Um I actually think I think everything I do is from a very genuine place. I think I move from a very genuine place. I've been through a lot of stuff in life that has made me very open-minded and non-judgmental. And I think that's a great quality to have in a long-term partner. Good answer.
SPEAKER_01And last but not least, what is your favorite sexual position and why?
SPEAKER_04Uh laying flat on my stomach with their hands on the back of my hips. I don't know, some it just tilts everything right.
