Welcome Back To The Meat Market

SPEAKER_04

Welcome to the meat market. The single scene is the slaughterhouse, and we are here to devour it. We are your hosts. I'm Lindsay. I'm Jess. And today's sizzling single is Emily. Welcome back, one of our favorite guests. So you're almost TikTok famous now.

SPEAKER_03

I hate that. Um, I feel like I just post on TikTok for fun.

How Emily Accidentally Blew Up On TikTok

SPEAKER_03

It started as something that was fun. Well, actually, it started as me having a crash out. And then I was moving away because I used to always post on my Snapchat story for like my close friends, and they were always like, post it on TikTok, post on TikTok. And I said, no, I can't. And then I had to delete Snapchat, and I was like, well, I don't still want to tell my stories. So I started posting them on TikTok. And then within a week, my first one of my first videos got like four million views. Wow. And I was like, oh, we're we're going somewhere with this.

SPEAKER_04

We've had guests come on that have mentioned you and are like, oh, I saw her out and I wanted to hit on her, but I was too slow. So I'm not her type.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no, don't hit on me at the bar. You don't like that? I don't love it because I just always, it's always a weird thing for me because I'm out with my friends and I'm not drinking. And if someone's hitting me on me at the bar, they're drinking. And that's totally like obviously fine, normal, whatever. But there's something about a man that's intoxicated talking to me and just like their loud, raspy voice and they're sweating. And I'm like, you're ruining it. Yeah. Unless they're like one drink in. One drink in, maybe, but it's always someone that's hammered and it's 2 30 a.m.

SPEAKER_04

That's the most unattractive thing I feel when you're sober and someone's wasted. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And I really do like put it in perspective, like, I'm at a bar, but I just know I'm not gonna meet who I want to be with at 2 30 a.m. at the bar.

SPEAKER_04

When I'm sober and I meet someone drunk, I'm like, I never want to drink ever

Why Getting Hit On At Bars Sucks

SPEAKER_04

again because I never want to be that person.

SPEAKER_03

It actually happened this weekend. I had met this guy a couple weeks ago and I told him I would be out in Old Town. And he's like, Oh, me and my friends are golfing. A man after golfing is already bad news. Yeah, now it's already you're already in the hole. Yeah. And then he goes, Oh, well, we're at Estelle, which is this new place in Old Town. He's like, Um, if you're coming, I said, Yeah, no, I'll be there. And he comes up to me at Estelle and he is screaming in my ear. He's so sweaty, his voice is raspy, and he's just so drunk. And I said, I wish I did not tell you that I was gonna be here.

SPEAKER_04

Oh it's awful. So

Growing Out Of Snapchat Energy

SPEAKER_04

you said you got rid of Snapchat. Just curious why.

SPEAKER_03

Um, it just I feel like I grew out of it. And any, I feel like Snapchat is so there's a certain type of man that's still using Snapchat, and it's just not a man that I want to be with. I promise you that. Like, I truly I don't want to communicate with anyone through Snapchat. My friends and I, we send voice memos like adults in our group message, you know. There's nothing that I need to be doing on Snapchat ever. Right. Like, why like why can't you just text? Yeah. Like, why are we not texting? Why are we not just sending voice memos? Why are we not just like if you have a picture of something you want to send? Yeah. Why do I need to send a picture of my face back and forth with someone all day? It's weird.

SPEAKER_02

And it's like iMessage or WhatsApp or whatever, like any of the messaging apps have the capabilities to do everything.

SPEAKER_03

Do I need to put like a dog filter on my face? Like, you know what I mean? Like it just wasn't for me anymore. And so I just like moved away from it altogether.

TikTok DMs Money Offers And Weirdos

SPEAKER_04

Do you have anyone hitting on you on TikTok? Like DMing you or whatever?

SPEAKER_03

Uh yeah, pretty regularly. I'll get messages to go on a date. People will ask for my cash app to send me money. And really? Yeah, it's always kind of just like off-putting because I'm like, you're not gonna send me money. And if you are, like, why?

SPEAKER_04

You know what I mean? Do send women money because I have a friend and she started posting, and people offered to send her money. So she put her PayPal on her very front, you know, underneath her proposal.

SPEAKER_03

I've seen people do that, and I guys send her money and she's in a relationship, and it's like, why? See, that's the thing, is like there's a part of me when I see that, I'm like, damn, I probably could get some people to send me money if I did that. But then there's another part of me that's like, I see that, and I'm like, you're embarrassing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that isn't very like you have because you have to take it to the grave almost.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like or you have to just be I don't know, but you just want to curve if you know if you're not doing anything inappropriate for the money guys just sending you money, it's their problem, not yours. Yeah, it's true.

SPEAKER_03

Sometimes I get so deep in my thoughts on the internet because there's this guy, he comments on every one of my Instagram pictures, like, show your feet, show your feet, show your everyone. And I'm like, okay, on TikTok, I can handle it because it's so many strangers and rados. And my Instagram's like pretty low-key, like it's not huge or anything. So when there's a random man, my grandma's like, why does this guy keep commenting to show your feet? And I'm like, move past it, grandma. Just move past it.

SPEAKER_02

He probably wants to buy your socks or something.

SPEAKER_03

Like, I'm sure you could. But there was one picture one time where like my toe was in it, and he's like, Finally, like it was like it's Christmas.

unknown

It's just crazy.

SPEAKER_04

It was so bizarre. People are so weird. Yeah. Isn't that funny how so I'm the same? Like, I don't care what I post on TikTok because I don't really know anyone on that. It's all these strangers. 100%. So I don't care what I post, but when it comes to Instagram or Facebook, my family, my friends are on that. I'm so cautious. Yeah. I don't post anything that I post on TikTok on my Instagram.

SPEAKER_03

And it's so weird because all of my family does see my TikToks. And I have always treated my TikTok like a close friend story. Like, I will tell anything. I won't name drop just because I'm not gonna put someone else's name on the internet. But other than that, I keep it pretty like if you see my TikTok, it's like talking to me in person. But now it's getting to the point where people come up to me that do know me and they're like, Yeah, I saw your TikTok about this. And I'm like, oh, you know exactly what I was talking about, and I don't like that. And I but I can't stop. I don't know why.

SPEAKER_04

Didn't you post something recently about like some girl was talking smack

Internet Hate And Talking Back

SPEAKER_04

about you? Yes. Did she see that?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, she did. Did she confront you? No, I've never met her, I've never seen her. So she's friends with one of my friends, and he had sent me the DMs that she was saying about me because I'll post him every once in a while on some of my TikToks. And she was like, She's so embarrassing. She thinks she's a star. And I go look at her, she's like 45, first of all. I'm like, okay, you're 45. I'm in my 20s, like, I'm having fun, whatever. And she was just like on a rampage about me. And I was like, you know what? I've kind of had enough of this. And like, because her name was so generic, I was like, Lauren, why don't you just like throw up? Draw up. And so I actually saw him the next day, and we sent her like a video on his phone, like, hey, what's up? And she just like lost her mind. She did? Yeah. I was like, why are you being such a hater? Like, why don't you post a TikTok then? What the hell? I'm like, she's never met you, right? Never met me, never seen me. Just has only seen me on TikTok. I'm sure it's jealousy. And that's the thing. I like hate to be like, oh, you're just jealous. Like, that's just so. But I mean, why else are you hating somebody that you've never met in your life?

SPEAKER_02

It's just so weird. I don't understand. The internet has made people weird like weird. So bizarre, unhinged. Absolutely. Because of the internet.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely unhinged.

TikTok Monetization And Not Selling Out

SPEAKER_04

So do you monetize your TikTok?

SPEAKER_03

So any video over a minute that gets a bunch of views, you can get paid for once you hit over 10,000 followers. And my videos are so rarely over a minute. I think I've made maybe like $40 altogether off of TikTok. Like it pays you nothing. But um I think it's there's really no point in getting into the creator fun on TikTok. I'm not, I was gonna like try and sell it something. No. There's really no point. Oh my god, can you imagine trying to sell halara pants? Like that is a cringe.

SPEAKER_04

That's not cringe.

SPEAKER_03

And that's also, I could never try to sell a product I did not stand with.

SPEAKER_04

Ever. Like, I hate to say this, but there's someone I follow, and because she contents on pop culture, she comments on pop culture, and I love her comments. And then I saw a video of her like selling Halara pants, and I lost respect for her. Like, I'm like, really? Like you're you're coming down to that level now of, you know, it's like selling flat tummy tea in 2020. You know how it's so bad. I feel like it's a sellout kind of. But I guess everyone has to make money.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think for me, I just I have my jobs. I mean, I do hair, I serve TikToks just for fun for me. And like wherever it takes me is wherever it takes me, but it's not something that I'm like, I'm going to make money off social media.

SPEAKER_04

Because I feel if you're looking to make good money on that stuff on that platform, you really have to go balls to the wall and post all day.

SPEAKER_03

That has to be your full-time job. Absolutely. And social media is a full-time job if you try to make it one. It is a lot of freaking work. That's why I like my TikTok style, because it's really just I pull out my phone, I tell a story, I send it, you know. But when I post hair stuff or things like that, I have to sit for hours and edit it and make these clips and think about what I'm gonna film during my day. And I hate that. Like I truly hate it. So that's why I like that my TikTok is just like fun and giggly.

When A Situationship Dodges Commitment

SPEAKER_04

So have you so you're still single? Yes. Have you had any good dates?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, so I was actually seeing somebody that I thought more seriously than it was, but apparently it wasn't, um, over the last couple-ish months. Um and it was he was great. I have nothing bad to say about him. He was a great guy. We're still cool. But I remember he was doing all the things, like checking all the boxes, he was showing up. I was hearing from him every day. We were going on dates, and like they were we were never like just like, oh, let's come over and hang out, like nothing like that ever. And then I remember someone said, like, if you have to ask, like you just it's a no. Like, if you have to ask what we're doing, where we stand, like it's just you're going nowhere, you know? But and I was like, Well, he's checking all the boxes, but maybe I should just ask, you know, it's been a couple months, be like, this is going somewhere. And I asked, I said, So, like, what are we doing here? Like, do you have the intention of this going somewhere? And it wasn't like, what are we? It was more like, do you have the intention of wanting to date seriously or not? And he goes, I'm just having fun till I'm not. That's like I was like, sick, okay. He's like, but it's definitely more than casual. And I was like, nice, amazing. So that was my last experience with dating, and that was probably like a month or two ago. But yeah, fun stuff. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy. I feel like we hear that a lot nowadays. Had you made it clear though that you were looking for something more serious? No, because I don't think that I was.

SPEAKER_03

When I first met, so this is what makes me so mad about this. When I met him, I was not interested. I wasn't like, oh my gosh, this guy is so cool. This guy is so great. He was literally, it's someone that I served at my tables. And he said, Oh, I've seen you on TikTok. And that was it. And I thought I was never gonna see them again, like him and his friends. And then they followed me on Instagram. A couple weeks later, whatever, I ran into him out. We had started texting, but still was like, whatever about him. And then when we started going on dates, I was like, Oh, wait, maybe I do kind of like this guy. I was like, So all that for what? All that for what? But whatever. Yeah. Um, so when I met him, I wasn't looking for a relationship at all. It was just kind of like he happened to fall into my lap.

SPEAKER_04

And I was like, oh, he's really cool and great. So did you end it after he made that comment? I'm just having fun.

SPEAKER_03

So that was the last time we saw each other in person. And then I was traveling a lot. I was in New York for like the Knicks, and then I went to San Diego. And then it was just like the texting kind of just I could see it falling off slowly. Cause I was like, well, let me, because he like tried to like clean up what his answer originally was. And I was like, oh, that's kind of your first answer. And it was a bad one. It was a bad one. Um and as the texting started to drop off, I just got so tired of it. And so I texted him and I said, I just feel like you're not interested, and that's fine, but I'd rather not talk at all than like continue to drag this out into like doomsday.

SPEAKER_04

Cause I have a question. He says, I'm just having fun until I'm not. What if he's always having fun? What if the fun never stops? You know?

SPEAKER_03

So that's that's another thing that I was like, maybe he meant it in that way, where it was like, I'm just having fun with you. And like when I'm not having fun with you anymore, like we'll just end it, you know? And I do agree with that with relationships altogether. It was just the way it was said was just a little bizarre to me. And I was like, I don't love that. Um, so when he when I texted him that, I was like, I'd rather just not talk at all if you're not interested. He sent me this long text and it was like, You're so great, but I just can't be what I need to be, like for this, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

SPEAKER_04

The usual. Because I've dated, I've had a boyfriend that initially he was like, I'm not looking for anything serious, I'm just having fun. Yeah. And I was like, you know what? I have fun with this guy. I'm just gonna go with the flow. And we ended up being in a serious relationship. So sometimes I feel like your mind can change, you know? It can evolve. Oh, 100%.

SPEAKER_03

I think I that's where I kind of was at when I had left that conversation. But then as it like slowly drifted off, and I given it like three weeks, I was traveling, but I was like, I'd rather just not. But I did recently run into him out and we're cool, we're fine. Like, there's not an issue. But we're just not.

SPEAKER_04

Any other terrible

The Unemployed Stay At Home Wife Guy

SPEAKER_04

dates? Yes.

SPEAKER_03

So where do we start? Um, I it's actually funny because are we dating the same guy? Facebook page recently reopened, and it's like the floodgates.

SPEAKER_02

No, it really is men or I have like I have like 10, I shouldn't out myself, not screenshots. I don't have screenshots, but like I'm like, oh my god, this is this who I think it is? Like 10 a day.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. So I was scrolling it last night. I couldn't sleep. And this guy that I had gone on a date with probably about a year ago was on there. And this guy was a lunatic, like to say the least. I had gone on a date with him probably a year prior for the first time, but I was in such a spot where I was so I hated dating. And so I was like, let me give him another chance. Maybe I was being too hard. Then I went on my second date with him and I was like, nope, you were not being too hard on him. He is a weirdo. Um, I remember probably about a week before the date, I thought that my roommates, Lisa and I, um, or my roommate's I, Lise, was ending. And I thought we weren't gonna move out. So I was kind of looking for apartments and I was texting him and I was while I was apartment hunting, he's like, why don't you just move in with me? And I was like, All right, so you're already crazy. You're already crazy. Um, and then he just like kept saying, I'm gonna make you a stay-at-home wife, I'm gonna do all of these things. And I'm not knocking anyone that that's their life goal. It's not mine. I like to work, so I was like, okay, whatever. Good for you. We go on a date. I ask him how his job is going.

SPEAKER_04

Unemployed.

SPEAKER_03

Unemployed.

SPEAKER_04

But he's gonna make you a stay-at-home mom. And you can move in with him.

SPEAKER_03

Idiot. Like he's such an idiot. I was like, wait, what? And I said something. I was like, didn't you say that you wanted to make me a stay-at-home wife? Like, doing what? I said, Well, do you have like another job lined up? Uh maybe he's just in between jobs, unemployed for six months.

SPEAKER_04

Is he like a trust fund baby? Or I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't even ask. I was like, unemployment. I was like, it'll be fine. It'll be fine. The minute that I hear someone is unemployed for an extended period of time, and I asked him, I said, Well, what are you doing? He's like, Well, I go to Pilates. Nice. Do you want to be the stay-at-home wife? Because it sounds like you might. Um, yeah, no, he's like, Well, I go to Pilates, then I go to the gym and I read. And I said, Are you applying for ever heard of a LinkedIn? Are we looking for a new job? I don't know what I want to do. How old is this guy? I think he was my age, like 28.

SPEAKER_04

Because if he was older, maybe I could say maybe he's retired. Yeah. But clearly not.

SPEAKER_03

And what's crazy is he was a CPA. And he was like, I just don't know if that's something I want to do, but getting your CPA license is really hard. So I'm like, that's not something you just like do. And you're like, ah, actually, it's not for me. I was like, such a weirdo.

SPEAKER_02

That's funny.

SPEAKER_03

That was a bad one. Other than that, I don't think I've had like many terrible ones. I've really been very selective now on who I go on dates with. Even though I hear all the time you should go on practice dates, like you should go on dates with guys that are not normally your type or whatever. And I'm like, I don't have the energy for that. I can't. No, not at all. I don't want to sit with somebody for longer than 20 minutes that I don't know, let alone an hour and have dinner.

SPEAKER_02

No way.

Dating With Social Media And Old Town

SPEAKER_02

Have you have you given any guys from TikTok a chance? Would you ever give someone in your DMs a chance? If they were hot.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I'm not gonna lie, like it's hard for me to gauge based off of social media because I don't like a man that is regularly posting on TikTok if it's not for a business thing. Like there's this guy on TikTok and he it was like this whole Scottsdale beef thing. He posts on TikTok every single day. And he is so nice in person. I've met him in person a couple times. On TikTok, before I met him, he drove me up the wall. Up the wall. I was like, you drive me nuts. So like things like that, I'm just like, I don't know. Like a man that's regularly posting on social media for funsies. A man posting a photo dump on Instagram. No way. No way. Post once a year and move on.

SPEAKER_04

Would you date someone that you work with at your restaurant manager? No.

SPEAKER_03

No. It's all girls anyway. Oh, okay. Besides my managers. And dating a restaurant manager would be a nightmare. Yeah, no, I went on a date with one once and it was insane. He was also going to jail. So whatever. He was going to jail in three days.

SPEAKER_02

There were lots of lots of red flags.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no, he was going to jail in three days, and I was like, this is perfect.

SPEAKER_04

Have you? We've had quite a few girls mention that they went out with someone who's a part owner of El Jefe, multiple girls, and they have the same experience. Have you gone out with someone that claims to be part of owner of El Jefe?

SPEAKER_03

El Jefe, no, but a bar, yes. Um, I am very so I go out in Old Town, but I'm not that deep in the club scene of Old Town. I go to, I will only go to Maya and I'll go to Estelle, but you will not see me in Bottled Londe. You will not see me in El Jefe, I'll tell you that much right now. And you will not see me at like Riot House or anything like that. No, no. But I mean, those club guys, they're all intertwined. It's like a scary little world. That street saddlebag trail, is that what it's called? Terrifying. Terrifying. No way.

SPEAKER_04

Have

Leaving Bad Dates And Ride Safety

SPEAKER_04

you ever walked out mid-date?

SPEAKER_03

Mid-date, no. But I will end it. I will find a way to be like, I want to go. There was one time I was like, I want to go. I think the guy I talked about the last time I was on here, who was just an awful date, he was in the middle of telling a story and I said, I want to leave. And he was my ride. I was like, I want to leave now, so you can drive me home or I'll call an Uber. I don't care. Was it your first date with him? Yes. And you let him pick you up? Yes. So here's the thing. I know people are like 50-50 on this. And because I always have guys asked, like, do you want me to pick you up or do you want me to send you an Uber? And I'm always like, Uh, pick me up. I don't want to sit with because at the end of the day, I would rather sit with someone that's taking me on a date than a random Uber.

SPEAKER_02

That's but also, but then I think I know where you live. Exactly.

SPEAKER_03

It's also scary. I think, um, yeah, no, I guess I never thought of it that way. Because also I live in like a building. So they can just pick you up.

SPEAKER_04

And they don't know which unit she's in.

SPEAKER_03

That, but also I've gotten in trouble with TikTok because I'll like post TikToks when I'm walking my dog or like I'm in the parking lot. And people have figured out where I live from TikTok. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

People on the internet can be crazy.

Doxxing Fears And The Unhinged Email

SPEAKER_04

Like zoom in and like identify things.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, wait till you actually hear this story. So a couple weeks ago, well, maybe it was like two months ago, I got this email from a woman and she was said, My name is so-and-so. I'm with this guy. He's my baby daddy, and I think he's having an affair with someone, and she lives at your apartment. What? And she was, Do you know anything about it? What I don't live in like a small, like five years, it's not Melrose place. Like, I think you know what I mean. I live in a pretty big apartment. I was like, No, I don't know anything about what you're talking about. I think it's a scam. So she ends up giving me her phone number. And she said, Call this number. I can explain more over the phone. I said, I'm not calling the phone number. And then she drops, My friend served you a cowboy the other night, and I know you live in says my apartment complex. I said, All right, let me call her.

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And so she goes, I used to do hair. I know you do hair in Old Town. Basically, I was like, Do you know what I'm wearing right now? Like, what more do you know about me? So I end up calling her. She has this whole thing. He made her sign an NDA. She has these kids with him. He drives this car. She drives this car. All the cars are bugged. And she's like, I can't even be on the phone right now because I know he has recordings in the house. I know he can hear me. I'm like, this is insane. This is insane. And you're telling a random girl on the internet about this? Like, what kind of NDA did you sign? I said, Is he famous? She's like, No, he works in construction. Wow. Construction making you sign an NDA? Who does he think he is? So then she goes, Well, I've seen him driving with her to the mall. And I said, she said, I followed him from your apartment to the mall. And I saw her in the car. So why didn't he go up to the car? Yeah. Right? And she goes, Well, she's a small blonde girl. I was like, oh, that's kind of weird. And then she goes, None of your friends could know anything. And I was like, Well, my friends are blonde and like whatever, but no, they wouldn't know anything. Because I live at the some of my friends live at my complex. I was like, they wouldn't know anything. And I said, sorry, like I have a hair client processing right now. Like, I gotta go. Like, I don't have time for this anymore. So I hang up and then I'm telling my client about it as I'm washing her hair. And at the same time, we both go, She thinks it's me. She thinks it's me having an affair. I was like, girl, you got it all wrong. No way. Am I having an affair with a man that's driving a Range Rover? And I said, He's probably at Bones. Like, he's probably not even at my complex. There's a strip club right next door. I was like, it's probably at the strip club. It's not even here. But yeah, I was like, that was crazy. So I will say because of my TikTok, I feel like people have already figured out where I live. Yeah. And I don't and I keep telling myself it only takes one person. It only takes one person to be like, I'm obsessed with you. You know what I mean? It doesn't matter how many followers you have. It could you could have 200 followers and have someone follow you.

SPEAKER_04

And you know what? Sometimes the women can be scarier than the men. No.

SPEAKER_03

Those emails were terrifying. I was like, what's crazy to me is she knows that I was at a restaurant. She knows where I live. She probably knows what my dogs look like. And I have no idea what this woman looks like. She could be next to me at the bar and I'd have no idea, but she would know that it's me. Yeah. And that freaked me out.

SPEAKER_04

Creepy. So have you met Clayton,

Type Talk And Attracting Partiers

SPEAKER_04

Eckhard? Because he was on our show and he's still single. You guys The Bachelor? Yeah. No. It's your type. No. He does post a lot on social media though.

SPEAKER_03

So I feel like we know some one of my friends saw him at Boondocks one night when we were there. Um, and I think I was there too, but I was just not paying attention. But it came up the other night. She was like, Oh, Clayton from The Bachelor. We saw him at Boondocks. And I said, Oh. Yeah, no, he's not my type. He's too much of like a pretty boy. Yeah. Yeah. You like what? A more rugged rug? I don't know what I like. Probably men who hate me is seeming to be my type currently. Um, men who normally are a disaster. I keep attracting really partier type guys. I don't know why. What's your type physically? Probably like blonde, blue eyes. I really like blue eyes. Um a short man doesn't bother me as long as they're taller than me. But like my I like see a guy at the bar. I'm like, that guy's so hot, and my friends are terrified of him.

SPEAKER_04

How tall are you?

SPEAKER_03

Five one.

SPEAKER_04

So could you date someone that's five seven, five eight? Yeah, I have. Really? Okay. So that gives you a lot more options. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Options are endless. Um, but yeah, no, I keep finding men that are into partying, like deep into partying, which is hard because I do go out every weekend. So it's hard to be like, I don't want a man who parties, but like that's what I'm doing. But I'm not doing drugs or drinking. But I keep finding men that love to do drugs and love to drink when they're partying.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And then they're like maybe stable through the week. I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

We had that one guy on that works at doesn't he work at one of the clubs doing bottle service for the bachelorette parties and he's blonde with blue eyes? He looks like one of the 90s, like NSYNC backstreet boys, like a boy back. Like he was cute.

SPEAKER_02

No, but you guys look kind of like like colored. Yeah, like you look like you could be related. But don't they say people are attractive? They do say that.

SPEAKER_03

The best couples always look alike. They do. Isn't that kind of weird? That is, it's weird. And they start to look more alike once they have kids.

SPEAKER_02

Once they have kids, I'm like, you guys are this is a weird looking family. It's funny because now that you say that, I'm picturing him in my mind and literally would you would look good together, but you would be, you would look like siblings.

SPEAKER_03

Someone, someone's gotta send them to me.

SPEAKER_04

We'll have to find his episode and send it to you before. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, I would say normally I like lighter hair. I like them to have lighter eyes. I either think someone's hot or they're not. But even like sometimes like guys will grow on me. Like this last guy that I was talking to, I was like, he was attractive when I first met him. I was like, yeah, he's attractive, whatever. But I wasn't like, oh my God, he's so hot. But then as I started to get to know him, I was like, why am I obsessed with you? And then once you once you start to like him, they're like, see ya. It's kind of true. We're good, we're dead. Mission accomplished. So annoying. And I think with me, because of my social media, obviously they see it. And then when they're with me, they pretend like they've never seen it. And I'm like, I know you've seen it. You pop up on people that like in my contacts that are on TikTok. So I know that you've seen at least one. And you're telling me that you're interested in a girl and she posts TikToks every day. You don't go watch them. Yeah. Really? Right. Yeah. Like, let's not be ridiculous.

Trust Rules For Going Out Alone

SPEAKER_02

So, do you want to be with someone who wants to continue going out once you guys get together? Like, because that has to be hard. If you or like, because do you do you want to keep going out? So that's what I'm when you get into a relationship.

SPEAKER_03

The line gets a little blurred because I'll go, oh my gosh, I really like this guy. But then when I'm at the bar and I'm just out and I'm giggling with my friends, I'm talking to everybody. Am I flirting? If a man is really hot. Yes. But I'm just like not ready to give that up yet. And I think it's easier because I don't drink that I'm not waking up hungover every day. I'm not feeling like crap. I just like keep going. And I always tell myself when I'm out, I'm like, this isn't gonna last forever. Like my friends aren't gonna be all single forever. We're not gonna be in this phase of life where we all can just go out. So I really try to hold on to it, but I wouldn't stop going out if I got a boyfriend. But also, like, do you want a boyfriend like gotta bring along with every if he had his own life of going out, I would like that better.

SPEAKER_02

And you would be okay with him going out separately with his guy friends, even if he was drinking and partying. Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Because I wouldn't date somebody that I couldn't trust in that situation. And also I feel like some girls get worked up over like the bottle service girls or whatever. It doesn't necessarily bother me. If the bottle service girl is like sitting on your lap, then like, okay, maybe we have a little bit of a problem because like that's not in the job requirements. Um, but if they're just like at a club and have a table, like, no. It's part of the stress about bottle girls because if a guy's gonna cheat, he's gonna cheat. When they're gonna be like, so that has always been my life motto, and I preach it to everybody because they're like, oh, I'm mad that my boyfriend went to a strip club. Your boyfriend's gonna cheat on you in the grocery store if he's gonna cheat on you. It's true. It doesn't matter if a stripper's in front of him. Yes, you know, and I guarantee you the stripper does not want your boyfriend. Yeah, I promise you. I've been in strip clubs. Yeah, I've been in strip clubs. She doesn't want the man that's throwing $10 at her in singles. I promise you. So I like strip clubs, have never been like something that bothers me. Bottle service girls have never been something that bother me. It's like, it is what it is.

SPEAKER_02

You

Listener Question Casino Conflict

SPEAKER_02

ready for it? I'm ready for it. The keep more minute, brought to you by Tactical Tax Strategies. They help you keep more in your wallet. We help you keep more in your relationship. So we have a listener question. All right. It says, Girls, I need advice. I've been officially seeing someone, boyfriend, girlfriend, for four months. Today he messaged me that he was going out for a drink and to watch a game at the pub with his colleague. Then I said, Okay, but I was um a little bummed that I wouldn't get to see him today. We didn't have plans, but the next day was Father's Day, so that was out. So then he said that he would come over tonight after he got done watching the game. Well, then an hour later he says, actually, my friend wants to go to the casino. And so I was uh still bummed from not seeing him earlier. So I said, Okay, well, it's confusing when you tell me what our friends want and not the plan for you. So then he decides to go to the casino, knowing that it would make me even more upset. I have a betrayal trauma reaction for sure. And I left an abusive relationship a year ago. Am I overthinking this or do I need to dump this man?

SPEAKER_04

Why couldn't he invite her to the casino?

SPEAKER_02

I also kind of think she's the problem.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, maybe, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

The whole time I was listening to that, like she is the problem. Cause I mean, guys go out and like when if you let men go out when they want to go out, they are gonna go out less. If you are like, you can't do this, you can't, they're gonna do it anyway. Might as well just let him go to the casino. You would have seen them in two days. Yeah, you know what I mean? And they've only been together four months, but yeah, I think that's a little they still need their own life.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I kind of think she's the problem. Although I do think that, yeah, maybe he could have included her in the plans. I'm just thinking when I'm dating a guy and we really like each other, hey, we'll go to the casino, let's go together.

SPEAKER_04

You want you want them along. Yeah. The fact that he didn't invite her kind of. Your friends don't.

SPEAKER_03

Your friends don't want to hang out with your girlfriend. I don't want to hang out with my friend's boyfriends. You know what I mean? Like if I'm out with my girlfriends and they're like, Can I, can John come? We're all like, no, no one wants to hang out with John. Sorry. You know, so when I'm dating someone and they're out with just their guy friends, I would never expect an invite. Yeah. Unless other girlfriends are going. If other girlfriends are there, then yes. But if you're the only girl, yeah. You know what I mean? That is true. I like don't

Empire State Proposal Or Felony

SPEAKER_03

love that.

SPEAKER_04

So, did you guys hear about the Russian urban climbers? I'm sure you saw this. Um, nothing says, Will you marry me? Quite like a felony. It's so I need to know if you think it's romantic or completely unhinged. So, Russian urban climbers, Angela Nikola and Ivan Bierkus, took date night to a whole new level. The couple illegally climbed restricted sections of the Empire State Building in New York. Once they reached the top, Ivan proposed with a banner hundreds of feet above the city. The proposal went viral, but so did the consequences. As soon as they came down, they were both arrested and faced charges related to the unauthorized climb. Their engagement photos are incredible, but they also came with mugshots. Do you think it was a romantic gesture or a reckless stunt? If a partner proposed this way, would you say yes? I know you wouldn't. Would you rather a simple proposal or one that breaks the internet?

SPEAKER_02

You said I wouldn't. That would be like my ideal. I thought you said you don't like attention. I don't like attention. That's like so much attention. Medium. But it's not, though. I guess it's just the two of you up there. No one else can see. That's true.

SPEAKER_04

Until you come down, then it's a shit show.

SPEAKER_02

It's a shitshow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy. What a way to propose, I guess. Do you would you like a big hoopla or I don't know, honestly.

SPEAKER_03

I go back and forth because I'm always like, I want a big wedding. And then I'm like, I want to lope just the two of us. I really have no idea. That I would never do. You would never catch me scaling the Empire State.

SPEAKER_00

Hell no.

SPEAKER_03

I don't even want to climb like three flights of stairs, you know? Um, I thought it was cute for them. I thought it was really cool and breaks the internet for sure, but for me, no.

SPEAKER_04

I wonder what their charges were. Like, did they do jail time? Like, was it serious?

SPEAKER_03

There's no way no one knew they were gonna do it. Right? Because I went and looked at either one of you look at their Instagram profiles. All they do is climb buildings.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they have a Netflix. They have like a documentary.

SPEAKER_03

So no one knew that they were gonna climb the side of the Empire State Building. Yeah. No one saw them scaling up past their window. Right. You know what I mean? Right.

SPEAKER_02

Like, yeah. I just like, I don't get it. They apparently they stayed after it closed, is what I heard after. So like they bought tickets, went in and stayed. Hid in the bottom. Yeah, they like hid somewhere, stayed after it closed. And then like went to the roof. And yeah. Oh and then climbed up.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay. And then I think they climbed.

SPEAKER_02

I think they climbed up mostly in the dark and then like went to the top, like to the top top when it was light.

SPEAKER_03

I thought it was like noon in Manhattan.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think so. I don't think so. Wasn't it in the daytime? Wasn't it light? It was, but I think I think it was like at at dawn. Like like you know what I mean? Like they stayed through the night and then started to climb up as like kind of like as the sun was coming up.

SPEAKER_03

Funny. Also imagine having to be like the firefighters have to go rescue them. I would be pissed. Like you make me have got it all the way up here. They climbed back down.

SPEAKER_02

I thought they went up there. Really? They thought they were like with helicopters. They knew that that was gonna happen. Like they knew they were going to get arrested. Like they, I'm pretty sure they'd just they climbed straight down and basically like that would be my dream then.

SPEAKER_03

Like just get down. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm pretty sure they'd knew they they expected all of this. They've been arrested in other countries for doing similar things. Obviously, not our devils, the proposal and stuff. But like I think I read that they've been arrested in other countries for climbing, climbing buildings and places that they weren't supposed to be climbing.

SPEAKER_03

They were hot too.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_03

I was like, damn, of course they're hot.

SPEAKER_02

Fucking Russians. I know.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, I feel like they're cool and they're hot.

SPEAKER_04

Like, what more? Speaking of extravagant proposals, um, what

Taylor Swift Wedding Rumors And Tacky Details

SPEAKER_04

about extravagant weddings? What do you think of Taylor Sift's wedding? Did you hear the details? Like, I heard like, so, because there was a thousand people. Did you hear how they had to have arrival time slots? Certain people had to arrive at certain times. And the first set of people had to arrive at 2:30, but the bar didn't even open till 4:30 and they didn't have their phones. So people were complaining that they're just sitting there for hours, like with nobody. Well, we actually have to talk to people.

SPEAKER_02

We actually have to engage with others around us. God forbid.

SPEAKER_03

I also heard that she closed down like three avenues, or like just for like security measure. And I was in New York for the Knicks series for one of the games. And that was insane. You could not walk down the streets because after the game ended, because there were so many people, and there was like maybe three blocks around Madison Square Avenue that were closed. So three avenues, that's annoying. Like the detour in the middle of Manhattan that caught was caused by the wedding, that is what I think. That's kind of annoying. On a holiday weekend. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Of all the places she could have done it. And of all the times. Like go to Italy. You have all the money in the world.

SPEAKER_03

Like go somewhere. You'll go to the heart of Manhattan.

SPEAKER_04

And you know what's crazy is people are like, well, she donated $26 million. So generous. If you I saw a TikTok video of someone doing the math, of their combined wealth is over $2 billion, and they donated $26 million. That's like someone who makes $50,000 donating $5 a cup of coffee. That's what that percentage is to them. So they donated like a cup of coffee. So I mean it is generous. Yes, I'm not knocking it, but you know. But then you hear like all these stories from the wedding, like it was a buffet. Like you have A-listers there. You have Oprah Winfrey and, you know, Brad Pitt and Tom Brady, and there's a buffet. People are standing in line.

SPEAKER_03

Not Oprah.

SPEAKER_04

But they're like sitting there. Right. And I guess there weren't enough chairs for everyone. So a lot of people had to stand. Apparently they ran out of champagne. Like, how does that happen when you're a billionaire? How many people?

SPEAKER_03

Well, a thousand people.

SPEAKER_04

A thousand people, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's crazy.

SPEAKER_04

And then I get how do you guys feel about her walking down that aisle to her own song? I know a lot of people are like, Oh my god, that's so tight.

SPEAKER_02

I know I haven't heard any of these.

SPEAKER_04

I haven't heard any of these details. Love songs, huh? Love songs. An instrumental version of love song, yeah. And a lot of songs.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like she has a lot more bangers than love songs she could have walked down the aisle to. Lana Del Rey. She should have done Lana Del Rey. She was gonna Yeah, right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Should have walked down the aisle to that, but and then I guess they had a raffle, like giving away Chanel bags and a raffle. I know a raffle. This cannot be true. It's not true. Everywhere. Yeah, there's a raffle. They were giving one away Chanel bags. And I think they did give away a heavy car. Like really big purposes.

SPEAKER_01

But it's kind of cheesy, Nun. Dude, she might as well have had a circus there with that. Like, and you can afford focus. Thank you for coming. Like, what?

SPEAKER_04

And I guess I was in a lot of the celebrities left early, like Tom Brady, Jessica Alba.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_04

But um another theory, so they had a lot of famous A-listers that they've never even met there, that they've never even met. But apparently, this was one big networking event for Travis Cuzzy because I guess he wants to become an actor once he retires from football. And so word on the street is that they invited all these producers and directors and actors because they want him to have a leg up in the industry when he retires. True or not? I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

But that sounds like the crazy that's like worse than a Kardashian wedding.

SPEAKER_04

My God. I know I know a lot of people were calling it tacky and calling her tacky and both places you could have tacky a raffle?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's crazy. The raffle, like the last one's giving her raffle ticket. That is wild. Uh no, the raffle is terrible.

SPEAKER_04

Why did they do that? Because it's not like the people at her wedding are all pretty rich and famous as it is. Like, do they need, I don't know if it was for advertising or like what was the purpose? I'm just curious.

SPEAKER_03

Maybe, or maybe it was but advertising, like they could did any were there cameras at her wedding at all?

SPEAKER_04

I don't think so.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I don't think anything footage, no photos or footage has been released. No. Yes. No.

SPEAKER_04

There was camera cruise. She's filming it for documentary. Yeah. So people say that she spent $50 million on the wedding. She's gonna make it once make it back once she releases the documentary.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sure she has her own private like photographers and videographers in there, but that will be released when she decides that she wants to release it, I think.

SPEAKER_03

Oh like she got married on a basketball court. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

I'm interested to see though what they did, like what they built in there. Oh, for sure. Because they were saying that. Yeah, like she could have built anything, like any stage in there. I forget it.

SPEAKER_04

Like, why not just go where somewhere, go where you want?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_04

I bet there are so many enchanted, like real castles, because I know that it was castle theme, garden theme. Like, actually go somewhere that actually looks like that. You don't have to create it and build it yourself.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and walking out of your wedding in Madison Square Garden to the middle of Manhattan, sturdy smells. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And I feel like she has the money to fly everyone she wants there, wherever she, you know? 100%. Oh wow, different courses, different horses, different courses.

Rapid Fire Red Flags And Dating Takes

Add tipper. Has no social media. Where should someone not take you on a first date?

SPEAKER_03

Top golf.

SPEAKER_04

Is watching porn considered cheating?

SPEAKER_03

No, but it depends on how often. If it's like a thing. If it's like a regular thing, it's weird.

SPEAKER_04

Before you're intimate, is it appropriate to ask your date how many people they've been with?

SPEAKER_03

Me ask them or them ask me?

SPEAKER_04

Um is it appropriate to ask how many people they've sat with? Uh yeah. No. No. Is it acceptable to have sex on a first date? Yeah. Do you have a secret talent that not many people know about or a unique fact?

SPEAKER_03

Unfortunately, there is no secrets about me.

SPEAKER_04

In one sentence, why should someone date you?

SPEAKER_03

Because I'm entertaining.

SPEAKER_04

And last but not least, what is your favorite sexual position and why? Oh god.

SPEAKER_01

Um probably just regular missionary, I feel like, is the best. For a girl.
