Catfish And Married Men Cold Open
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, I just totally got catfished. He looks absolutely nothing like his picture. So I found out the guy that I've been dating is married with kids. His wife just reached out to me.
Famous DMs And Viral Pickup Lines
SPEAKER_02Welcome to the meat market. The single scene is a slaughterhouse, and we are here to devour it. We are your hosts. I'm Lindsay. I'm Jess. And today's sizzling single is Haley. Welcome. Hi guys. So you have a lot of famous people in your DMs. Who are they?
SPEAKER_03Spooty. Uh-oh.
SPEAKER_00We want to know the juice. I know. I literally told people before this, I'm like, do I want to say their names? I'm kind of nervous because I don't want to out anybody. But how are you adding them?
SPEAKER_02They're DMing you, so they probably assume it's gonna get out. And they don't have anything to hide, you know? True.
SPEAKER_01I was to say people's DMs go viral all the time. That's true. Like women, the game. Do you guys know the game? No. He like his pickup line that he uses in every single woman's DM just went viral because someone posted, because it was a like it was a good line.
SPEAKER_02It just sends And then women come forward and then like the same to me.
SPEAKER_01He said the same to me, but it was like he'll send a DM and it just says like F3. And then when And then when the woman is like, I'm going what? Wait, F3 is in the brand or F3 like or D6 or something. And then the woman like is like, what? And then he's like, Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was a vending machine. I was just picking up the colour. I got that one. I got that one. And so like he so this woman came out and was like, This is his like game or whatever, uh, or his line. And then all these other women were like, oh, he said the same thing to me, he said the same thing to me, same thing to me.
SPEAKER_00I love that. I almost had this idea of like making a reel where I just screenshot the crazy like DMs, which are the the initial message, where it's like, hey, are you from space because of this? And like something stupid. But I'm like, actually, that was very creative, and I appreciate that more than like, hi, I'm so-and-so, what's your name? I'm like, actually, I love the punchlines. Give me the joke, give me something to laugh about, and then I'll respond. Or send me a funny reel and then I'll respond.
SPEAKER_01Because then you know you have the same sense of humor. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02So you had a very good-looking, famous comedian being you. I think there's only one song everyone's gonna know.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so the only good-looking comedian.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because we've had a couple comedians on. Really? And every time that comes up, that comedians aren't good looking and that he's the only good-looking comedian.
Divorce Reel Goes Viral And Gets Hate
SPEAKER_00I just said to my friend today, I'm like, he looks unreal. Like his side profile is very attractive. But um, so my photographer in Utah posted editing my pictures, posted me on there, and then said, listening to Matt Reif uh while editing. And so Matt Reif was like, thanks for the shout-out to my photographer. And then he went on my Instagram, was liking my bikini pictures, uh, swiping up on my stories, whatever, but he didn't like ask me out. He didn't, none of that. But I did send him a message like, hey, if you want me to come to Europe, like fine, I'll come. They're already packed. So, no, we haven't like linked up or anything, but he was on my Instagram, which was shocking. He's probably the most famous person to like swipe up on my page and liking my stuff. The bikini pics did go viral. I have a red dress video that went viral and had lots of famous people swipe up after that. So I think um, and the video was basically me just saying, Don't worry, your future wife is getting divorced. Oh, that's cool. And it was just me just like this. I thought it'd just be silly, fun. No, if you read the comment section, it's a war zone. Half of it is like, I'm obsessed with you, marry me right now. The other half is like, you are expired goods. Yeah, like horrible things.
SPEAKER_01Were you actually going through a divorce? Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01So it's like it was kind of like your story. Yes. You're going through a divorce. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I was just like, and I just took a cute video in the bathroom in a red dress that I thrifted and then it went viral. That's crazy. And now my life's exploding. Did you get a lot of hate from women? You know what? I only had a couple women, I've had a woman be like, oh, go hit the gym or something like that. Yeah.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_00And I'm like, girl, every day. She's like, well, clearly not. Because back in the day, like flat butts were in, and like I'm more curvy-ish, like, not even that curvy, but like she was like, obviously not. I'm like, I want to have a big butt. I don't want to have a flat butt. So, anyways, I learned not to associate or comment back to women like that. It's always really disappointing when women hate on other women. Um, because like for me, I had a feminist podcast in a sense. Like, I love men too. And uh, it just is disappointing. Like, as women, we should be lifting each other up. I'm not surprised that the men do it. That's not a surprise. Like they hate it. All the comments, if you read it, you would be shocked at the things they would say. They would be like, not a flex. Getting divorced is not a flex. I'm like, it is because I'm happier, and our kids are better off with two happy parents if they're separate than together. And uh a lot of Christian men, a lot of Trump supporters, not to make it political. But if you go to all their profiles, it's Trump, God, family, but they're hating on all of my posts. And I'm like, why? That's not very religious, is it? Hating. I'm like, why? I said, how Christian of you. Hating Ollie. Hating.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, yeah.
How Haley Started DJing
SPEAKER_00Or I'll just sometimes, just for funsies, I'll like comment back something stupid. Like one guy said, Oh, I would never be with you. I said, Oh, I wish I could be with a guy that could cook rice in 90 seconds, or just something silly. Like, you think you have a chance with me? No, you're commenting to get my attention. Clearly, you're interested in me for some reason. You're bored with your life. You probably live in your parents' basement. You have the time in your day to leave a nasty comment on my post. I don't care about you, but clearly you care about me enough to leave a hateful comment. So I'm kind of learning how to navigate that with growing. So you said there's a 20-year-old, somewhat famous influencer that's like hitting you up. Yeah, uh yes. Uh, I met him at a fight night, UFC fight night. One of my friends was a UFC fighter. He got me an all-access pass to the UFC fight night. I met Clayton from The Bachelor. He told me he was on here. Yeah. Yeah. So I was like, no way I'm going on. Did he not ask you out? Uh no, you know what? We're both from Missouri. And I kind of got the vibe. If he's watching this, I don't know. I kind of got the vibe he wasn't interested. And me and you seem like his type. Probably, but uh honestly, it kind of seemed not interested. So he was a really nice guy. We had some great conversation. If he watches this and you are interested, go ahead and ask me out. So say yes. I would go on a date with him. I think he's cute. But uh yeah, I met Ari and his wife. Uh I sat at their table and then I met Rampage Jackson, who he's on my Instagram too. We almost met up at Coachella. Like, yeah, so just meeting people through different networking, like young thugs friends, uh Quavo, like working at Live in Miami. I mean, I saw that you called Diplo over the weekend. Oh my gosh, yes. Uh, I threw, well, I helped throw an after party at Coachella, and uh one of the artists, he's actually making an album with Diplo and Major Laser. And so Diplo had an after party, Coachella, and my friends were too tired to go. We got the address and everything, and they were too tired to go. I'm like, stay up till 6 a.m. just to meet Diplo. I love Diplo, hell yeah. Yeah. So hopefully I'll, I'm sure I'll meet him one day, but not this trip. Yeah. So you are you a DJ? Yeah, I actually just got into DJing like after my divorce. It's always been a dream of mine. Um, but really, honestly, my second club I ever went to was the Maya in Scottsdale. And they told me, hey, can you go up by the DJ? Just asking me. And I'm like, sure. Uh they were offering me free alcohol, all this. And I think just to get me to talk to tables, promote them without paying me. They just want to give me free drinks and like go by the DJ because I'm pretty. And so I went up there. I'm like, hey, I've always wanted to be a DJ. Can you send me your equipment? Send me some tips. Then I went to live in Miami, met Pipple's DJ, uh, a few other famous DJs, David Getta's son. I love David Geta, he's my favorite. So that's crazy. This guy turns around, he said, Who are you? I'm like, Who are you? He's like, Oh, I'm a DJ. I'm like, Cool, put in your Instagram. Like, I'm learning. He types in Elvis Getta. And I was like, What, like David Getta? And he's like, Yeah, that's my dad. I'm like, Oh my gosh, that's crazy. How old is Elvis? Uh, I want to say he's 24. Okay. Or 25, but he's such a cute guy. Like, again, if he's watching this, I think you're awesome. Let's DJ still. He's cool. So I've met a lot of cool connections. So do you DJ at clubs, bars? Yeah, mostly clubs. I was offered like Weston rooftop gig, but I just didn't feel ready. I'm actually gonna have like a solo launch event because I've already been offered gigs in May. So I'm trying to like finalize my title and LLC and then have my own like party to like throw off me being a solo DJ. I've mostly been DJing with other DJs just to like learn the roads. But what is your DJ name? Uh okay. I hope this is I hope this is the one. It was gonna be Hailstorm, but that's already taken. Yeah. So I was thinking Halo, like a Halo. That's cool. I like that. Because people are like, oh, you're kind of like an angel. Like you could do some cool uh branding and stuff. So it fits. And what kind of stuff are you gonna spin? Okay, for me, I was just saying this. I don't like EDM, I don't like techno, I love like hip hop, rap, RB, like Usher, like from the window to the wall type of music. Like that's my favorite.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And have you seen some crazy stuff in your clubbing days, spinning days?
SPEAKER_00Oh, it's the craziest story. Oh, it's painful stories. I offered a lot of drugs for sure. Um, and I turn it down. I grew up Mormon and I actually left the church two years ago, so I still don't love alcohol. I drink it occasionally, but I get offered drinks all the time. And I just have to be careful not to get roofied. Like it's very common in the music industry and the clubbing industry to get roofied by women. Women will get paid to roofie other women.
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we agree to do that. Yes, that is the bartender can get paid to roofie people, like they'll get paid off to yeah, roofie someone's drink. So I've talked to multiple people that have been roofied and men. It's actually more men that have been roofied by gay guys, and I love the gay community, but that's just the stories I've heard. So that's crazy. Um that's really big, not like Young Thug's friends offered me like a blunt, and I'm like, please don't tell me this is something else. I smelled it, I'm like, is this weed? Because if it's anything else, I don't want it to be laced. I don't want to whatever this is. So I just have to be very careful when it comes to like substances, and I don't want to fall into that deep pit of like it's a it's a really slippery slope in that industry. Like once you get into, I mean, I know people that are up for three days straight because they're on drugs. And that's the clubbing industry. You're up, it opens at 10:30 p.m. in Miami. The clubs close at 7 a.m. So half those people are on something to make it that long through the night.
SPEAKER_02So I remember when I first moved here, because I'm from England where clubs closed, you know, at 4 or 5 a.m. in the morning. We'd leave and we'd hear the birds chirping. And I remember when I first moved here, clubs closed at one o'clock. And so 12:30, they did last call. And I thought they were joking, oh, you're fine, you're kidding, right?
SPEAKER_00Like it's crazy how other places people do party till the wee hours of the morning. Oh my gosh. It's almost like for me, I just remember being so tired. And like I was working out there at promoting the club live and selling tables to groups of guys, like bachelor parties or whatever. And honestly, it was an easy sell because they'd be like, Well, are you gonna be there? And I'm like, Yeah, I'll be there. They're like, Okay, then I'll come buy a table. It's easier for women to sell because they're we're more a little bit trustworthy, and maybe the looks help. Um, so that's gotten me far, but like I'm more of a saleswoman by nature. People are like, Oh, you work at a club, like, are you a bottle girl? And I'm like, Well, that's sexist, but no, I'm like, I sell tables and tickets, and I don't judge anyone that is a bartender or bottle girl. For me, it's just I want to go a different path. And so it kind of just fell in my lap, if I'm being honest.
SPEAKER_02So, did you get into the club scene after you got divorced? Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. We, me and him had only been to like one club together with our friends, and then we were just like dancing.
Mormon Marriage And Leaving The Church
SPEAKER_02So, if you don't mind me asking, how did this transpire? So you grew up in the Mormon religion, you're married for eight years, yes, you have two kids, and then so why did you get divorced? Are you allowed to disclose that?
SPEAKER_00So I got married at 17. I think that's literally all you need to know. Uh yeah, it is in the state of Arizona if you have a signature. Yes. Did you want to get married at 17? Oh, you did. Okay. And it wasn't, it wasn't arranged.
SPEAKER_02How old was your husband? Please don't tell me he was 15.
SPEAKER_0022, okay. 22. And like it was love. Like we really did love each other. When I left the church, that's when things went downhill for us. Did he leave the church? No. Why did you decide to leave the church? Um, I really dug into the history of the church and like learned more about polygamy in the church and learned more about how it was founded. And honestly, I think it's a little bit misogynistic. It's very misogynistic. And I am like semi-feminist, and like again, I love women and men the same. I just think we should have equal rights. Um, and so you did your own research. I love that. I researched a lot, and I have people fighting me in my DMs all the time. I'm like, trust me, I talk to the historians of the church, they go back to the actual journals of the pioneers, of the founder of the church. So if you want to fight me, go ahead. But just know I've literally read the journals of Joseph Smith and the pioneer woman. So I know my shit.
SPEAKER_02It's crazy how some people look at religion as the be all end all. Like, I have a friend that literally thinks the earth is flat because the Bible said so. Oh no. Like she doesn't look at science, she says, well, the Bible says the earth is flat, so it is flat.
SPEAKER_00Okay. And yeah, I had to dig into the Bible too. I don't want to get too deep in that. And that's kind of hard with dating, is I was worried, like, are they gonna be like, is does this girl go to church? Is she a Christian? Is she religious? And that would be a deal breaker for guys. And what I've learned is I found the guys that are like me. And like, you just attract whoever you are. So if a guy is super Christian, goes to church every Sunday, doesn't drink alcohol, I'm sorry, but I'm not your girl. Like, I work at a club, I like to have fun, I don't go to church every Sunday. Honestly, I don't love church right now, just because I have some trauma with it. So, like, whoever I'm talking to now just understands that, like, hey, I'm a spiritual person. I pray to God or a higher being. Like, I love people. And that's the most important part is just like loving people. And religious people miss that mark. They can be the most judgmental, mean people out there. And I'm like, you call yourself a Christian? Yeah, right. If we talk about Christ, which is love, that's not what you're doing.
SPEAKER_02And I and I show love to everyone, so it's like I will say some of the meanest, most judgmental people are the religious people. I've never so hypocritical to me. You left the church, and uh was your husband okay with that? Is that is that why you got divorced? He couldn't handle that.
Kids Co-Parenting And Social Media Boundaries
SPEAKER_00He just didn't. I was uh on this track, right? And we were just going separate paths, and like his family is deep rooted in the church, ancestors Joseph Smith, like not Joseph Smith, but uh with Joseph Smith. Does that make sense? The founder, so like it's deep rooted in his DNA, like culture, everything, and really it's a part of our identity. So when I left, it was a huge identity shift. I had to like reprogram my brain because that I believed that we were the right church and like everyone else was wrong, and like everyone should be Mormon. So when I left, I'm like, wait, uh I was wrong. You know what I mean? And so that was a that was really humbling. And now I live my life like that. Like, maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong. Never say never. I'm very in the middle with a lot of things, and I'm open to hearing all sorts of sides. I just will do my research and yeah. You have two kids? Yes. How old are they? So my oldest is almost six. I have two girls. I had her at 20. Uh, actually, I got pregnant at 18. I miscarried at 18, miscarried at 19, had my first daughter at 20, had my second special needs daughter at 23. So she just turned three. And so you do the club thing when they're with the dad? It's 50-50. Okay. Yes, I told him. I'm like, I work nightlife. I don't know how to describe it, but uh the hours are wild. How does he feel about it? Do you know?
SPEAKER_01Do you guys argue? Does he talk about it?
SPEAKER_00I think he didn't know what I was doing because like I had to block all of his family on social media, and so I didn't want them seeing what I was up to or gossiping about me, which they still do. But like, and if they're watching this, they know they do. But um, I just I didn't want him to see or be jealous of what I was doing because I want him to be happy at the end of the day, and so uh I would just say, Hey, I'm in Miami. Can you watch them? Like, I'll trade you a day. I'll watch another day so you can do this. If you can watch them another day, so I can like not have to pay babysitter, which babysitters are expensive, like it's not even worth it to work if you have to pay a babysitter. And he was like, Oh, you're just partying or whatever. But I'm like, it does look like I'm partying, and I am, but I'm getting paid to party, and not many people get that. Like, I didn't even know you could do that, uh get paid to have fun. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02Has he moved on? Is he in a new relationship?
Dating Athletes Musicians And Public Attention
SPEAKER_00Um, I don't know. And to be honest, I just hope he's happy. Like, I kind of don't care, and it's not that I don't care about him, it's just that I want him to find the best for him. We just weren't right for each other at the end of the day. And you say you went out with an NFL player that you didn't know was famous? I've gone out with a few NFL players. Uh, in my DMs, I got UFC, NFL, NBA, MLB, like famous reality shows, whatever. All across the board. Snoop Dogg's friend was in my DMs recording with Snoop, Death Row Records. I'm like, what is my life right now? And why are you reaching out to me? You know what I mean? Um, but yes, I went to Utah. I went on a date, and truly such a kind guy. There's a lot of like uh media on him. If you look him up online, which I didn't, I didn't even know who he was. I thought he was cute. So we went on a date. And while we're on the date, I made a joke, like, oh, I need a private jet with how much I travel. He's like, Oh, I got six. Oh, wow. I was like, Oh, wait, are you joking? And then he showed me. I'm like, okay, yeah, you do have you do have six private jets. And I was kind of like, what do you do? So it turns out he's a business owner of um a few things, used to play in the NFL. He's an ex-NFL player. Um, when we went to an opening night for a club, people were like, Hey man, I've always wanted to meet you. Can I like get a picture? Whatever. Like, I'm like, Are you? Do you know them from high school? I was kind of confused, like, how do you know this person? He's like, I don't know them. And I'm like, oh, so they're just coming up to you because they just want to meet you. He's like, Yeah, I used to play in the NFL, and like then he started telling me more about who he was. And then like I have photographers flashing lights in my face, and I'm like, what is happening right now? Like, you actually have like you know, people that are taking pictures of you and me. And I'm like, I'm not, I'm nobody's girlfriend, by the way. So like when I go out with these famous people or whatever, um, I'm nervous about photos getting out, like people saying, Oh, new girlfriend or whatever. Um, because I'm single and this was our first date, you know what I mean? So I told everyone, they're like, Are you his girlfriend? Are you his new wife? I'm like, no, this is our first date. I didn't even know who he was before this. Um, and I met Secret Lives people at that party. I had a Secret Lives member ask me on a date. Um did you say yes? I did. I think he's really cute. Um, we actually were gonna meet up at Coachella, but uh timing.
SPEAKER_01It wasn't Dakota, was it?
What Haley Wants In A Partner
SPEAKER_00No, it was I honestly am fine with saying who it was. Um, so I met Chase, uh, Miranda's ex-husband. He's really cool. Like, I think the sad thing about TV is people get bad edits or like people make mistakes, right? And what I got from him and like seeing him on podcasts and stuff, I think he's a really genuine guy. And we all have a crazy stage. When you leave the church, you have a crazy stage. I definitely did. So, um, so he he actually said, like, hey, can I join your dating wait list? That's cute. And it was really sweet. And I was like, Yeah, here's my number. I don't give my number out, but I was like, I can tell he's genuine. And um, so I'll be in Utah actually uh interviewing on a red carpet next week. So I just plan to see him and whoever there. Yeah. What are you looking for? Are you looking to get married again, have more kids? I do want to have more kids. Uh, I would love to have a son one day and just with the absolute right person. Uh, if I got married again, I would sign a prenup just because I want them to know. Like, I'm not here for your money, especially with me dating famous people who are rich. I don't want them to think I'm dating them because they're rich or famous. I'm dating you because I like who you are and I don't need your money. I can make my own money. So I would sign a prenup if I got married again. So, what is your ideal type? Are you looking to date a celebrity or someone that's in the limelight? I think the reason why I've been attracted to them is because they are grinders. They work harder than anyone. They literally don't sleep. Like when they're on tour, they're not sleeping. They're up all night meeting fans, selling merch, connecting with the crowd. They have this bigger purpose that they're um driven towards. And that's what I'm attracted to. I'm more just attracted to hard workers. And I'll go on a date with a guy that doesn't even have Instagram. It doesn't matter. As long as you have the same drive that I do. So I think that's why I connect with a lot of those big names is because like I have that same drive for life. And they work their butts off like to be where they're at. And to like uh I just went on a date with a musician. He's actually recording with Diplo in Major Laser, and um the sweetest guy, like he uh uh writes country music, he's actually making a song for Kane Brown right now, um, wrote for One Republic, wrote for Keith Urban. And like you almost think like, oh, they gotta be cocky or something. No, he's the most humble guy, and like when I watched him at a show, he actually flew me out for his show. He was like connecting with this audience, and people were crying because his message was like mental health awareness, and he that's his purpose. He like wants to spread awareness about mental health, and I think it's amazing. So I love people with a big purpose, that's for sure.
SPEAKER_01Was he here for a show recently?
SPEAKER_00Ooh, do I say? Yeah, okay. I think he would be okay with it. Um okay, his name's West Ghost. Do you know him?
SPEAKER_01I know. I have we have a mutual friend. Really? I don't know him personally, but I know somebody on his team.
Red Flags Cheating And Being A Girls Girl
SPEAKER_00Okay, so he just a nice guy. And like, I don't the thing is, like, a lot of these guys, they're my first dates. I actually don't go on second dates hardly ever. Mostly because of my time. Also because if I'm not interested, like I'm sorry, like I'm not gonna waste your time. So I've only been on two or three second dates. Uh and they out they always ask me on another date. And they'll be like, You're the best first date I've ever had. Just because I'm really easygoing and like whatever, but I'm just I don't want to waste your money or your time. Like and I'm so busy trying to make a living for me and my kids. So that come my kids come first. Then dating's last. It's at the tail end. So, in your opinion, what makes a good first date? Uh oh, you know what? Funny. They have to be able to laugh and like we have to vibe that way. I have a certain type of humor that if they don't get it, we're not. We're not vibing. I actually dated a I say dated, talked to a British guy who was on two hot oh shoot. Uh oh, that's gonna give it away. Okay. We talked. I really liked him. And if he sees this, I don't even care. I liked him because he had a special needs daughter too. So that's how we connected was like we both have special needs daughters. And um, one thing I noticed was like the humor is different. It's funnier in England, right? I loved he said that. Yeah, they got wit. And he's quick too. He could keep up with the jokes. I loved it. I'm like, all right, he can keep up because sometimes I'm nervous if I make a joke, they'll take me seriously and think I'm like serious. And I'm like, no, I'm sarcastic, like 90% of the time. So I loved that about him. We're not talking anymore, but we did talk for like a good amount of time. Yeah. In your opinion, what makes someone a red flag? What are some qualities? Oh, um, definitely working in nightlife. Coming from someone who works in nightlife. Um, anyone that does orgies, that's a no. That's a big no-no. I've been asked multiple threesomes, mostly guys, two guys and me. How do they approach you about that? They'll be like, so Eiffel Tower. Yeah. I'm like, two words, Eiffel Tower.
SPEAKER_03And yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, I was Mormon, I don't know what that is. Um, and I forget, honestly, when I first got divorced, my first week, I was offered to be in multiple marriages swinging. Um, because Utah's a big state for swinging. Is it really?
SPEAKER_02I had no idea. Like, well, because it's the Mormons. But also Mormon swing? Yes. That's the whole secret lives of Mormon. Yeah, I know it came up. I didn't know that, like, all across the board, Mormons swing.
SPEAKER_01Not all across the board, but it's very it's a generalization for sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and like non-Mormons swing too. You just don't know about it. Because you're only in the kinkiest, too. Yeah. Yes, I actually had one guy say he would leave his wife for me, and I knew her. And that was the most heartbreaking thing to have to tell her. Like, oh no. I had to I had to send her screenshots, and that was really hard to do. Um, yeah, because I feel like I feel like if he's saying that to you, he's gonna find someone else to say that too. And he's gonna leave her eventually for someone. You know what? I kind of think I was the first girl he did it to because of how stupid it was. Like, don't reach out to someone you know that knows your wife. And why would you think I'm the kind of girl that would take a guy's side? I'm always gonna take the girls' side. I'm a girl's girl. Like, I found out someone had a girlfriend after we were together and it broke my heart. So, like, I'm a girl's girl to the day I die. If someone's in a relationship, I'm not messing with that. But there are so many girls who don't care that will be with someone's husband, they're a dad, they go on work trips, they pretend like they're not married, they'll take their ring off, they won't tell you their real name. This kind of stuff happens all the time. And it's really sad. Girls do it too, though. It's not just guys, yeah, you know? So it's a it's a shady world out there in the dating world. I I'm like, are you really who you say you are? And please don't tell me you have a wife home.
unknownRight.
Worst Date And Introducing Kids
SPEAKER_02You know what is the worst date you've ever been on? Do you have any designs?
SPEAKER_00The worst date stories?
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_00This one, he was a great date. It was actually his first date back since his divorce. And he wasn't the worst date, but this is a bad situation. We were in a local area, his first date back, we were vibing. He was a great guy. Then I see my ex-husband with my daughter in the ice cream shop as we're about to go get ice cream. And I literally ducked and I said, Gotta go. I sprinted, hopped in my car, and I whipped out of there. Not because of anything with my ex. I didn't want my daughter to see me with another man. And by the way, he was a little bit older, so I didn't want her to be like, why is she with this guy? He's like in his upper 30s, I'm 26. He just looked older. And I just didn't want her to be like, Who is this guy? You know? And uh after I dipped, he's he called me. I'm like, I'm so sorry, I had to go. Um, I just didn't want my daughter to see me. And the guys in the golf cart were like, dude, your date just like ditch you. Like, I literally sprinted out of there. He posted that story, it got 200,000 views on Instagram.
SPEAKER_01Your date did.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01Like that, was he upset? Like he was saying it was like a bad date.
SPEAKER_00He was an influencer, he's an influencer online, and uh, he was like, This will be so funny. Are you okay if I share the story? I'm like, I don't care because you know my intentions, like it's funny. But all the all the comments were like, dude, she has a husband. Like she left because that's her husband. That's hilarious. They're like, she definitely is a wife at home. Like, and I just wanted to answer them like, no, I'm not, but like, ah, whatever. It's clout for him, it's fine. And he was a great date. That was just a crazy situation.
SPEAKER_01That is a crazy. Have you ever introduced your daughter to someone since?
SPEAKER_00Yes. So they actually met, she met the musician because he flew me and her out there. He had the mask on though. Um, because he wears a mask. And uh, I told her, like, hey, he looks like Spider-Man, just so you know, like, so she wouldn't be freaked out. And she loved it. Like, he gave her a little toy, was so sweet. Um early on, there was a guy who honestly I connected with so well. He was ex-Mormon as well. Um, he doesn't have Instagram, so no one can find him. I actually met him at my gym. Um, I went up to him because my friends were like, girl, pick whoever you want. You can have whoever you want here. So I went up to him, I was like, Hey, I'm Haley. I think you're cute, like you're totally my type. And he's like, Whoa, why are you talking to me? I said, Because I think you're cute. He's like, You're stunning. He's like, I was just looking at you and thinking I would go to war for a girl like that. And then I came up to him, and later that week he sent me a video that he had uh made in his car like a month before I was still married, and he said, I just saw this girl at a gym. She's totally my type, she's so fine. I just found out she has a baby because I walked out with my kid. And so he had filmed this video before I'd even went up to him at the gym. So, like, is it fake? I don't know. We don't talk because we were getting too close and I'm not ready to have a boyfriend. And he actually asked me to be his girlfriend, and I was like, I'm so sorry. And he already knew I would say no. He just was like, You're the kind of girl I want to marry. And and he met my kids because he dropped us off the airport, and he's like, also, your girls are amazing. Like, I would love to be a stepdad one day, just like genuine, and still the sweetest man, truly. Like, I hope the best for him. But I'm not in a place to give someone my heart or my full attention. So you're not ready for something serious? I'm not ready to. I'm focusing on my career and my kids right now. So, like, I'm dating to get to know what I like. Part of me feels like the guys right now, because all the men are like the same way. They just date so many girls and like don't commit. So I kind of feel like a guy right now in that sense, but I feel like I'm doing what's best for me. Like, isn't it more fun? It is, kind of, and just like no pressure because I've had guys be like, Hey, I'm looking to marry. So they won't date me because they want a wife. And I say, Well, I don't want to be anyone's wife right now. And I appreciate them saying that. And on any day I go on, I'd be like, I'll say, What are you looking for? And if they say they're looking for a wife, I'll be like, Well, I'm not looking to marry right now. I just went through a divorce. I got married at 17. I don't even know what I like. I'm figuring out who I like and what I like and testing out the waters. And and so if if they seriously want a wife, they won't date me. How long have you been single for? Uh, five months. That's it. Oh my gosh, every divorce is recent. I get asked out like five plus times a day on a date. But I like that because they know I'm the kind of girl you want to bring home to mom, and they know I'm the kind of girl you ask on a date. You don't just hit on a flirt with. They're like, Can I take you to dinner? Can I take you to a concert? They know I'm like a high value woman, and that's how I try to carry myself. Is like, I don't do OnlyFans. I was offered to do it. I said no, because I have daughters. I've been offered money to add back on Snap and send pictures. Nope. I carry myself a different way, and I'm different than LA girls and Miami girls and Scottsdale girls. I'm not your typical girl. I'm like the take home to mom kind of girl. But I love that because they treat me better. They're like respectful, they probably spend more money on me. Let's be real. They're like, she's a I would want to wipe her up, you know? So could you date an ordinary man? Like your average person? The first guy, like the one I just talked about, who I had feelings for, he was an average guy. No Instagram, not on the social media scene. One of the best men I know.
SPEAKER_01So did you start doing the DJ stuff while you were going through the divorce, or have you only been doing that for five years or five months too?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Like, yeah, like just started. I had connected with DJs when I was married, but like it just didn't make sense. Like I was a stay-at-home, well, okay, I did hair for seven years, but um, it didn't make sense with my life. Like, I was a trad wife, I was like a traditional housewife. It didn't make sense for me to be a DJ, but now I'm figuring out like, oh my gosh, I'm still young. Like, I still have a life ahead of me. And I was so scared to get divorced because I'm like, am I too old? Which is stupid. Like, 26 is not old, you know what I mean? But when you're Mormon, that's like old. It's like granny age. Literally. No, literally left on the shelf. If you're 26 and you're at singles board, you're old.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy. Yes.
SPEAKER_00But in Miami, they're 40 and they haven't gotten married yet. And that's normal. So when they hear that I was married for eight years and I have two kids, they're like, shut up. You're not a mom. Like, no way.
Listener Question About An NDA
SPEAKER_01It's it's a different world. Are you ready for it? I'm ready for it. The keep more minute brought to you by Tactical Tax Strategies. They help you keep more in your wallet. We help you keep more in your relationship. So we have a question. Maybe if my iPad will turn on.
SPEAKER_00I say I spilled all the tea.
SPEAKER_01It's not, it's a listener. Okay, good. Okay. So it says, I signed an NDA and my girlfriend is upset I won't tell her what it's about. Long story short, I was involved in an event with an app with a public figure that required me to sign an NDA. I told my girlfriend about this and have not disclosed any tidbit of info to her. She feels betrayed that if I she feels betrayed and that if I did trust her, I would indulge. I'm just worried, if God forbid something happens and we break up, she'll spread this info or it might slip out one day with her roommate. It was also a very personal situation I witnessed, and I don't want to just gossip. I feel like a bad boyfriend, and maybe I don't trust her as much as I thought. Any advice on how to navigate this?
SPEAKER_02I mean, there can be some pretty serious consequences if you break an NDA.
SPEAKER_01Why would you risk that done doing that? No, it's not her girlfriend. I would never.
SPEAKER_02I would absolutely never. And you never know. What if he ends up leaving her for someone else or for whatever reason and she wants revenge? Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think if she's pushing that hard, like she's not the one.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01She should have some respect for that NDA and not hound him. Yeah. Do young people though understand the repercussions? Like, like, that's what I'm saying. Like, maybe they're young. I don't, it didn't say their age, but like if she's like 23, 24 and has no idea what it means, like what the legal repercussions are. He should explain it to her. She should Google it.
SPEAKER_02Like, you can see a lot of money and Google it. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00The Chat GBT and Google them excuse.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I think like these young girls, they get jealous really easily or whatever. And they're like, what's happening? What's going on? Like, they're just too young to understand his business.
SPEAKER_02And I feel they're pretty selfish nowadays, the younger people. Like, she probably doesn't care. She's like, Well, I'm your girlfriend. You should you need to tell me. Yeah. You know, it's all about them.
Reality TV Tea And Dating Shows
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I've heard some tea about some reality shows coming up. Which ones? And what tea? Basically, let's just say I know what's gonna happen on the whole show. Which one? Which show? If I say they might get in trouble though. Because they signed up.
SPEAKER_02Well, tell us what show. You don't have to say the. Yeah?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, what show?
SPEAKER_02Okay, perfect match. Oh, is there a new one coming? I do love that show. So you know how it ends. Or you know who the winning couple is, who the perfect match is?
SPEAKER_00I'm pretty sure they told me, and I actually forget because I don't know half of them. Okay. But I do know a lot of the drama that goes on. And yeah, she could probably get in trouble, I feel. I think I could get in trouble. So I'm not, I won't say anything. I haven't said that. Who are some of the cast members on that show? There are a few people from like Temptation Island on that show, um, Too Hot to Handle, Love is Blind, like all the it's a base, basically like a collage of like different reality shows. Yeah, I love that show, but do you know any specific people, cast like names? I feel like I shouldn't say because of what I just said.
SPEAKER_01What is perfect match? Like, what's the premise of it? Um I haven't watched it. I haven't watched it. So I love it.
SPEAKER_02So they pick singles from all of the shows on Netflix. Typically it's Netflix, but they have introduced now The Bachelor ABC. Yes. And at the end of every night, you have to have a match and you sleep with them. Uh, not sleep with them, but stay in the same room with them. But then the next day they do activities, you get to know each other, you can switch matches, but there's gonna be one, they bring in new girls and new guys. Okay, and there's gonna be one, because when you match up, there's gonna be one left solo and they go home with like Love Island. Love Island.
SPEAKER_00So I actually applied for Love Island a couple months ago, and actually, like three of my friends are going on the show. Oh my gosh. Um, but the thing is, Love Island flies out like 40 people, and out of those 40, 50 people, only like 20 of them actually get on the show.
SPEAKER_01One of the girls that where I get my lashes done, she went last year, last season, and she just sat in her hotel room in Fiji the entire time. They never used her, and she was like so mad because she was like, I couldn't even, you can't enjoy the beach. You can't enjoy, like, you really can't do anything.
SPEAKER_00And last season they had their first mom. And so for me, I'm like, I would have to FaceTime my kids at least. And at this point, even if they asked me like tomorrow, I'd probably say no, just because I wouldn't want to leave my kids for six weeks and then not even be able to talk to them.
SPEAKER_01And she got slammed, like for being a bad mom. Like her, like she got for going on the show.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. So I've been like, there's a few production companies that I could work with, but the dating shows are just wild. And I'm like, do I want my name out there like that? No judgment for anyone that does it, they're just single people, like I'm a mom. But why not?
SPEAKER_02I mean, if you conduct yourself in a classy manner, like you can make so much money, I feel some of the people that go on these shows make bank. That's true. I'm reality TV material.
SPEAKER_01And that's really why people go on. Yes. People aren't going on to actually find love. Love is blind.
SPEAKER_02And that's what makes me so angry about Love is Blind. I don't think I want to watch it anymore because so many people are in relationships or married, and it comes out that they're only on there for their social media. It's like, yeah, it's not worth watching anymore, you know?
SPEAKER_00You know what's funny? I was even thinking, like, okay, let's say I went on the bachelor and I was a contestant. What if I make it to the end? And then they ask me to marry them, and then I'm like, shoot, well, now I gotta get married. You know what I mean? I've even thought that far of like, if I was the bachelorette, then I have to get engaged at the end. Like, that's more serious. Whereas Love Island is kind of just like fun, it's like easygoing, nobody stays together. It's literally not about love, it's about partying.
SPEAKER_01Even like the first season, it was like truly. I really liked the first season when it first came out. Molly May and then Tommy and Sally and Johnny. Yes, like they were my favorite, and then now it is what it is now.
SPEAKER_02I think I prefer the to go on The Bachelor, then Love is Blind, because Bachelor, you don't spend much time with the guy, then you get engaged or whatever. But love is blind, you have to live with them.
SPEAKER_00And see, okay, love is blind would be the worst because not all you don't even know what they look like. How do you know if they're even attractive? Like I couldn't do love is blind. I told my friend on Love is Blind. I'm like, love is not blind, and they know that because it didn't work out, but I'm like, I attraction comes first, always. You talk to someone because you're attracted to them, then you get to know them. Always.
SPEAKER_01It's true.
SPEAKER_00So it's like, no, love is not blind.
SPEAKER_01There has to be some attraction.
SPEAKER_00So I guess I won't be on the show.
SPEAKER_02Like, can someone's personality make you fall in love with it? I think so. Because I've worked with guys that were not very attractive, but then we work together and we get to know each other and they're awesome people that they became good looking. I mean, look at Shane Gillis. He pulled the hottest.
SPEAKER_01It should be some attraction though, to start. It can't go from zero. For real. Like, it can't go from zero. Yeah, that's true. Maybe.
SPEAKER_00Uh, some girls are clout chasers though, and they'll just date for the fame or money and they don't care. Like, I literally witnessed a 21-year-old girl make out with like a 70-year-old guy the other week, and it was gross. And I'm like, you have no self-respect. I'm so sorry. That I don't get. No. I mean, if you're 69, okay, but 70. Yeah, you're okay.
NDAs In Dating And Celebrity Examples
SPEAKER_02The age, like if they look at someone. We're gonna discuss, speaking of NDAs, an article on NDAs. Have you ever signed an NDA or has any guy that you've dated been you have, and you were fine signing it?
SPEAKER_00Oh, like have they asked me to sign it? Yeah, no, I've not signed, but I've talked to people that have signed NDAs, so I have to like keep things confidencial.
SPEAKER_02Really prevalent in Hollywood. Yeah, everyone does it. Um, so NDAs aren't just for business anymore, they're used in dating sexual relationships amongst high-profile people. It's very common, even for influencers now. Um, why they use them to protect reputation, avoid scandals, control public image. But a lot of people are now asking, is it a power move or is it for protection?
SPEAKER_00I think protection.
SPEAKER_02NDAs can include huge financial penalties if broken. I wonder if anyone's ever broken them. Has anyone, have you ever heard of anyone?
SPEAKER_01I've never known, I mean, I'm sure people have. I've never personally known anyone that's broken one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So what's restricted? No social posts, no texts, screenshots, no photos, videos, no talking to friends, media, the legal angle. The NDA is enforceable if it's clear and consensual, but can be thrown out if it's covering illegal behavior. I've always thought about that. If you see someone do something illegal, can you like drugs or something? Right, exactly. So I guess it can be thrown out for illegal behavior. There is an ethical debate. Is it a privacy shield or a way to silence people? Um, Celebs use NDAs for relationships, parties, affairs. Like P. Diddy's freak-offs. I can imagine he made everyone sign those, all right? Absolutely. Um, so you would you guys be okay signing an NDA if you were dating someone somewhere? Yeah. Yeah. Um red flag or green flag is asking for an NDA smart or a control issue? Smart. Smart.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's smart if you have something to lose. If you're just like Joe Schmo from down the street, like if you're Brandon from Circle K, I'm not signing an NDA before we go on a date.
SPEAKER_02And you're dating and you're sexting and you're sending pictures of your butthole. Like you don't want that getting out for the public. Like Girl Hope. Remember that soccer player? What was that famous soccer player called? The female soccer player. Oh no. And she had a picture in her phone of literally her butthole, and someone hacked it there. Oh no, not anyone. Literally her butthole.
SPEAKER_00That's why I don't send pictures to anyone. It's dangerous. No man has my pictures. They'll ask all the time. I'm like, nope, nope. Because I have daughters and I don't want that stuff spreading. So I bel like I think that's good. Signing an NDA is good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So um I did have a friend that she was married to some doctor and she was looking for a babysitter and she posted on her Facebook, looking for a babysitter who's willing to sign an NDA. And people are like, why an NDA? She's like, oh, because they might see some documents in his office. Like that I feel is a bit extreme. Lock the bloody office, right?
SPEAKER_00With medical stuff, it gets legit. I could see that actually.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but to make them sign, I don't know, why don't you just lock up the documents or put them in another room? So now the celebrity cut, will we marinate in the juices of the celebrities? Who has NDAs? What celebrities makes you sign an NDA? So what I found funny about this is the top people are all like sea list celebrities, like Raven Simone. Who's Raven Simone? She makes everyone sign NDA. That's a Raven.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's a Raven. Yeah. Oh, I don't know her. Okay. I watch Disney Channel.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Lori Harvey, like those are the two top people that require yeah. So Raven Simone confirmed she has had partners, including her now wife, sign NDAs before Naughty Time to protect her naughty time. Every time? Yeah. Every time she signs. That's a valuable sex. Because you know on people talking about your kinks. Like, what if you like some pretty crazy stuff, you know? Oh, there are people that like weird stuff, that's for sure. Lori Harvey reportedly requires men to sign NDAs with one million dollar penalty before dating. Farah Abraham states she requires all her boyfriends.
SPEAKER_01Do you guys remember her? She was teen mom.
SPEAKER_02Oh, teen mom.
SPEAKER_01What was that show on MTV? 16 and Pregnant or Teen Mom. No, it was Teen Mom. After being a teen mom, you would sign an NDA. Yeah, and then she became a porn star.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's a turn of events. But sometimes I think people might have these NDAs to seem like they're important. You have to sign this NDA because I'm so important, you know? Yeah. Anyways, other ones, of course, Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise is known for strict confidentiality agreements for anyone in his inner circle. Understandable. Um, Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner, for her parties and events. That makes sense. You don't want people coming to the parties worried about pictures getting out, or uh Cristiano Ronaldo, Mariah Carey. Surprise, surprise! She's a baddie. Yeah, that's it. But if I feel like back in the day, people didn't really care about NDA so much, did they? Oh, social media, that's why. Yeah. Social media. Social media.
SPEAKER_00And things spread like wildfire. Now there's AI, fake news, all that. It makes sense. It does make sense.
SPEAKER_01And nobody wants like the Kylie Jenner thing. It's like nobody wants their untouched photos going out before they have time to cherry pick and edit their photos. Oh, they edit so hard. So it's like you have to sign an NDA at the parties so that you can't post pictures because there was something with their Christmas party this year that Chris Jenner like made someone take photos down or remove photos because they weren't like that was Megan Markle, actually.
SPEAKER_02Megan Markle went to one of those parties and she made them take pictures down because they want to Meghan Markle. So Chris Jenner made Megan take the pictures down. No, Meghan made Chris Jenner's team take the pictures down. Yeah. Who makes Chris do anything? Right. And she did Chris Jenner. Oh, of course. But yeah, God forbid a natural picture of one of the Kardashians ever comes out that's not Photoshopped. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, good point. I've had people get mad at me for posting pictures that they didn't approve.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy to me.
SPEAKER_00And I'm like, why do you care that much? But women care how they appear on social media if you have body image issues or like insecurity. It makes sense.
Catfishing Filters And Meeting In Person
SPEAKER_02I bet if you meet one of the Kardashians, they look completely different in real life, don't you think? Because their pictures are heavily filtered. Any celebrities, they are the most filtered, right? You know what's crazy?
SPEAKER_00There's a lot of catfish out there. A lot. Celebrities? And I too. Um mostly just social media in general. The profile will look so attractive. And then you meet them in person, you're like, whoa, I was not expecting that. How do I get out of this? Like, I've had situations where I'm like, you're a catfish for real. But guys will go on a date with me and they're like, you look better in person than online. And I'm like, is that a compliment or is that a diss? I can't tell. I'd rather be that than a catfish, but also like, do I need to up my social media game? Like, you know what I mean? It's a weird how do you have a lot?
SPEAKER_02Any celebrity that's looked different in person than in their pictures? Hmm. No.
SPEAKER_01I feel like it's harder for celebrities to do it though, because they're photographed in the world. Yeah. Often, like paparazzi and stuff, and people take photos of them in public when they're out in public. Whereas influencers, that's true. It's just true. Their fan base is just their following.
SPEAKER_02Have you ever met any celebrities that are not very nice in person or that are super nice? Or anyone's that stand out?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um, people that are just so cocky and so unreal. Like for me, I'm one of the nicest people you're you'll ever meet. I'm very like humble. Uh, maybe I didn't sound very humble on this, I'm not sure. But like I try my best um to just be a good person. And some of these people let the fame get to their head or money. I think for men, money is huge. Like they think, oh, if I'm a millionaire, I can get any chick I want. All I gotta do is throw some money at her, buy her expensive dinner, she'll have sex with me. And for me, that is not the case. I've had money in my life, and I know it doesn't buy happiness. And I also respect my body and myself. So just because you're throwing money at me does not mean I'm gonna go on a second date with you. So what is your surprise?
SPEAKER_02What is your ideal first date? Where?
SPEAKER_00Where uh honestly, at this point, concerts or sports games. Um, I love like baseball games, basketball games. I've had so many people, they'll message me like, hey, I got tickets to like stagecoach, come with me. Or like, I am, I have a gala at the White House, be my date. I'll fly you out, like to all these different events, which is so cool. I just don't have time to fly everywhere. I appreciate the offer, but if they're local and they want to go like courtside sons game and I'm free, then I'm down.
SPEAKER_02So what if a guy asks you on a date? Then you're interested in him, but he gets you tickets to a game, but it's nosebleed tickets. Is that a deal breaker for you or is that like a letdown?
SPEAKER_00I would still go.
SPEAKER_02You would still go. I love sports games, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, I would go. And like a guy doesn't need to be rich for me to date them because, like, like I said, money, money helps, that's for sure. But as long as they're driven and have goals, that's what matters. If they're currently a millionaire, I don't care. Yeah, actually, it's more of a red flag if they have so much money they could buy whatever they want. And whoever, be whoever, yes, be with whoever they want. That's a little bit more of a red flag for me, if I'm being honest.
SPEAKER_02Now it's time to get to know you with Zoyo, sponsored by Zoyo, your neighborhood yoga. Rapid fire star questions. Okay, are these red flags or nah? Make sure you split the bill on the first date. Yeah. Still follows their ex on Instagram. No, has roommates and they're over 30. No. Doesn't like dogs. That's not a red flag, no. Posts Jim Selfie's daily. No. Bad tipper. Bad tipper. Yes. Says I don't do labels. Ooh, that's a tricky one. What do you mean by that? Like they don't want to be your boyfriend or go, they don't do labels. That's not a red flag, because I'm the same way. Has no social media. No, not a red flag. Talks about crypto on the first date. Not for me, because I'm in sales. Calls their mom every single day. Yes, red flag. It orders dinner for you without asking what you want. Yeah, that's a red flag. Where should someone not take you on a first date? McDonald's. Is watching porn considered cheating? That's a mixed question. Before you're intimate, is it appropriate to ask your date how many people they've been with? If it's before the night, yes. And is it acceptable to have sex on a first date? Yes. In one sentence, why should someone date you? Wifey material. Um or you out? Emotionally unavailable but super hot. Out. Great communicator, but no ambition. Out. Obsessed with you and treats you amazingly but really bad in bed. Out. Loaded but old and ugly. Out. Has a private jet and buys you whatever you want, but can't keep it in his pants. He doesn't want to commit. Out. Out. Do you have a crazy hidden talent that not many people know about? I love puzzles. I'm so good at it. Really?
SPEAKER_00You love puzzles? Yes. You guys are live on breaking. She has puzzles that are like 2,000 pieces that are like all the same puzzles. 5,000 piece puzzle one time. It's cool.
